Ottima scheda video, la si può overcloccare usando il Geforce Experience spremendogli qualche fps in più. Non scalda, nemmeno quando la scheda non è sotto carico e le ventole sono ferme. Buona la silenziosità. E' fornito di un supporto da montare con due viti sulla scheda madre per sostenerne il peso. ATTENZIONE: chi lamenta che il supporto tocca la ventola centrale è perchè ha montato il supporto sulle viti centrali della scheda madre e non su quelle posizionate all'estrema destra (dove probabilmente avete le porte SATA e USB) Viene fornito anche il cavo/adattatore di alimentazione al quale collegare i tre connettori PCI-E dall'alimentatore: io non l'ho usato perchè troppo rigido e corto, ne ho comperato uno lungo 30cm con i "pettini" e permette di avere il case un po' più in ordine. Che dire, una rtx 4070 molto basica, compatta (non troppo in larghezza, occhio) no power limit sbloccato, dual fan ma non per questo da scartare, anzi. Al momento in cui scrivo è quella con il prezzo più basso (spedita e venduta da Amazon 1 giorno a 630 euro), temperature sotto controllo anche con questo caldo, specialmente le memorie non mi hanno mai superato i 70 gradi e la GPU anche meno, se poi si rende un po' più aggressiva la curva si mantiene il tutto sui 65 +/-, dipende dalla tamb. Il chip quello è, consumi ridicoli, mai visti più di 190 w in game a 1440p con prestazioni simil 3080 con l'aggiunta del FG. Classico singolo 8 PIN funzionante con alimentatori modesti e anche di 10 o più anni fa. Materiali e ventole discreti, ho visto di meglio ma anche di peggio. Alla fine sono 200-250 euro in più di una gtx 1070 basic nel 2016, il mercato (Nvidia) è questo, speriamo non peggiori però. Read more

It was still $1200 when I purchased it but, it was a great price relative to other cards at the time. I know this card does not have the best VRM and such and would not be the best over-clocking card but, it does have some other nice advantages. Maybe not the best cooler ever, the heat pipes are not soldered to the fins so, it could be better but, it is still a nice cooler and very quiet. I am not an intense gamer and for me, this was nearly a perfect card. If you just want an RTX 4080 that has a good cooler, is quiet, is not crazy overprices, has some basic RGB, then this is the card for you. Read more

Let me start this review by saying: I've never had a very decent graphics card in my computer before. I only game at 1080p, so I never had a need for a huge graphics upgrade. However, on a whim, I decided I could splurge a little bit and purchase this rtx 4070 because I deserve good graphics for once in my life, and so do you. This goes without saying, but my expectations were pretty high for this card and I couldn't wait for it to arrive. I got it within two days and ripped my old graphics card out of my computer and threw this one in as quickly as I could. The first game I decided to test was World of Warcraft. I logged in and... got the same FPS as I had with my older graphics card. I tried messing with settings, tried optimizing the game, and after about an hour - I realized WoW is just extremely un-optimized and I needed to test other games. I was disheartened and a little worried that my rtx 4070 wasn't working, but I decided to try Call of Duty: Warzone. I opened the game, and maxed out all of the settings, and instantly was getting between 150fps - 250fps. I played a few games and, man, this graphics card fulfilled my dreams. I can finally play with shadows on and have raytracing at the same time. The third game I decided to try was Dead Space... and same thing. I was getting roughly 130fps, which is way more than I expected, all with the settings maxed out. Let me tell you the pros of this graphics card: -I'm using a 600w power supply with this card. That's how little power this card uses... and I'm all for it. I believe a 700w power supply is recommended, but the 600w seems to work just fine with this. I'm using it with an i7-12700f, and it's almost a perfect match with very little bottlenecking. -This card is quiet. Very quiet. In fact, if I'm just browsing the web or streaming video, the fans don't even turn on. That's a huge benefit for me, because my old card sounded like a leaf-blower. -No RGB. This might seem like a downside, but it has an all-black exterior, which looks pretty sleek in almost all builds. The cons of this card: -The price. Nearly $600 for a card of this type is a bit expensive for what you get. Still, it was one of the cheapest cards I found that offered quite a graphics upgrade, and it was worth every penny. In summary, if you need a graphics card that runs quietly, efficiently, and lets you max out most games, this is the card for you. Read more

PNY may not be as well known as some manufacturers, but they make a lot of engineering cards along with NVIDIA. The headline is a long name but it really is all that. It's not a shy piece of hardware, this version at stock is bright and blinks in rainbow colours. If your computer's glass left side faces you, then you might want to tone that down in software but it is pretty great. I happened to get a good deal from an Amazon partner. As far as performance, what can I say? The card is silent with a normal load, the included support arm worked fine for me (with a relocation), and the performance is epic in Windows 11. Both this NVIDIA 4080 chip and the class-by-itself 4090 top of the line board power monster cards. You have a choice of gaming or studio drivers, which 'just work'. Read more
