I've owned a lot of Chinese-made budget Sports Watches of this basic design pattern over the years. Once you learn how to program one of them, you know how to program all of them. I like them because I find they are very resilient, holding up well in high-moisture and high-dust environments, and will not break apart if snagged (as many cheap watches available locally were prone to, when I last shopped for them). Unique features of this particular watch are its slim profile, and the nubs on the watch band which ensure it will not slip out of its strap in use. Importantly, it also has a high-contrast screen which can be read in most lighting conditions. Overall, this is an attractive, well-made, and useful watch of this variety. The only thing that would make me hesitate to use this on a daily basis is that the buttons are not recessed in the frame. In my experience, this means that if I wear gloves and flex my wrists all the way back - such as when doing open-palm push-ups - the buttons might be pressed accidentally. Most people will not be troubled by that minor shortcoming, however, and could find this watch to be a good choice for daily use. Read more

While I give low marks for the included instructions which leave out some basics, the watch itself is refreshingly thin. One can't easily find such a thin watch and that makes it special. The band is also pretty nice, I think. For the current price at time of this review, I think it's fine. They say the battery can last for more than two years. Read more

*Update* Been using this watch for a while. At first (as you can read in my review below) I thought it was a tad unsightly and too big for my wrist so I left it at home, used it as a clock, and gave this 3 stars. However, after deciding to and actually been wearing it every day it has begun to grow on me. I got the white, so of course it matches all my clothes, and if I wear it on the side of my wrist (not the usual top or the bottom) I can see the time real quick, and the face of the watch is protected from hitting things (I also did not peel off the clear plastic cover that it came with). Hopefully, this watch will keep me company for a long time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ It is huge. When buckled on, it is so big that its width is the same as my wrist's. I thought I could still manage that, but when the watch got in the way of everything I was doing, I figured I should just use it at home - perhaps leave it standing on my desk. The numbers are big enough that I can see the time clearly enough from across the room. Or perhaps attach it to my bag when I go out so people around me can see what time it is. Some days of the week - the letters - are hard to read - probably has to do with the way they are shaped - or spaced. Also, the instruction booklet lacks some information - yes, you will probably eventually figure things out by yourself if you kept trying and pressing all the buttons - but it would have been less time-consuming if everything had been spelled out. I needed a waterproof watch with a big face and big numbers to go on a beach vacation. This definitely fit the bill and worked perfectly. But of course it's white, and after 8 days, it's turned sort of pink. If I knew how to clean it and could get it back to being white, I'd give it 5 stars Read more
