When I received the camera it was dead but did have the original Sony battery in it. I was worried at first but opted to buy a charger for the battery. Once it was charged everything worked perfectly. I like the quality of the camera. It’s lightweight and easy to navigate. A good camera for a starting blogger like myself. You will have to download the creators app to transfer footage and learn more settings. The battery life is not bad but not great either. You must buy a SD card it's not included.
