I got the brick colour one, looks red on the screen, that's the colour i thought it would be, shame it wasn't, but it is a lovely perfect pink, and my skintone doesn't usually mesh with pink, but this one is very close to the natural colour of my lips and i've been looking for a lipstick the same colour as my lips for over 10 years, and this one is the one. The tube is fancy gold and shiny, the consistency of the lipstick is moisturising, no tight feeling or anything like that and no drying after. No staining either, which technically would be considered a good thing, personally i would prefer just a little bit of a stain, but obviously it wasn't advertised as a stain in any way so that's just my personal issue. Overall i recommend this lipstick more than i've ever recommended a lipstick before, it's perfect. I imagine the colour would look great on any skintone, but for context i'm mixed-race and light to medium brown with a light yellow and medium green undertone, endlessly struggle to find colours that suit me, this lipstick is magic. I needed a red lipstick to go with a jacket for an upcoming event and decided to try the shade "Brick House." I had recently purchased a Laura Gellar lipstick in the color "In the Buff," and loved the consistency - very hydrating. This red lipstick is a winner! When I put it on, my husband immediately grabbed me and kissed me! He loves it on me - says it's bold, but not too bold. It looks like a satin lipstick, not glossy, but the color, more of a darker red, is a lovely rich color but without looking harsh. It's also a balm and feels like it. It even lets me "overline" a bit without the need of a lip liner - the color is that concentrated! You will have to reapply, it only lasts for a couple of hours, but you are still left with color on your lips and they don't feel or look dry. I'm so excited that I found this. Bought the just peachy shade. Very happy. Nice and moisturising and gives a pop of colour that lasts well unlike other moisturising lipsticks that seem to slip off and need frequent reapplication. Don’t quite understand the pricing structure though as the shade I bought was very reasonably priced but other shades are twice as much. Would buy again. Also, nicely packaged in a cute box which would make it good as a stocking filler gift. Read more
