As a child Lego was completely out of reach for me. I remember being 10 and spending hours in the toy shop just staring at some of the amazing kits you could buy. Am sure you got a lot more for your money all those years ago but still, I never had that sort of money spare and neither did my parents. Besides, how could you justify those prices for pieces of mass produced plastic. No, my youth was built using Sticklebricks. Now, I am an adult and earn my own money and its just great! I would say I am a semi serious Lego enthusiast. My main downfall was marrying someone who also loves Lego. We probably have around 60 Lego kits varying from 50 piece mini builds right up to the Hogwarts castle and soon (if my bank account is willing) the monster Rivendell set from Lord of the Rings. Our decision to have no more children was basically judged on having to use the spare room as Lego HQ! There is something magical about opening a new box of Lego. I'm sure it stems from my obsession and desire as a child but it just feels like indulgence. Up until recently i had only ever used the Lego branded bricks. There wasnt really much else out there in terms of quality kits. Of late I have seen more and more cheaper unbranded brick kits from various companies, and i have tried some (I'm not made of money after all!) And whilst I would say these are 'ok', you can definitely see a distinct reduction in quality when comparing these generic bricks against official Lego ones. The robustness, shine and structure are just better, and the pieces just want to fit together. You absolutely get a better build experience using Lego, and I have never once had a missing piece from an official set. Their customer service is also amazing, one of my sticker sheets was folded into the instruction booklet once and a sticker had stuck to the page and they sent out a replacement sheet very quickly. This particular kit was purchased for my 9 year old daughter who had no choice but to build Lego considering who her parents were! It took her about an hour and a half to build by herself and she had lots of fun. It holds a few secrets like the Tri-Wizard cup and the clock face also spins. I love the way the characters look as though they are floating as if underwater (If you have seen the film you will understand). Viktor Krum comes with an interchangeable head so that he can 'transform' into his shark. I recently purchased some blue Lego plates for my castle so that I could expand the diorama and this piece fits in awesome. Lego will always be expensive, but you are paying not just for the pieces, but the engineering and creativity needed to think up such ingenious sets. Ich habe mich sofort in das Legoset verliebt als ich es gesehen habe. Also wurde das mini Aquarium rausgeholt und auch die lebenden Bewohner des dunklen Sees erfreuen sich am Trimagischentunier. Aufbau ging Kinderleicht aufgrund von der bebilderten Anleitung. Sehr umfangreich und detailliertes Set. Besondersschön finde ich das man bei jeder Figur den Gesichtsausdruck variierenkann. Für deko Zwecke perfekt und auch zum spielen Spielen super. Damit der Turm unter Wasser bleibt habe ich ihn auf einer größeren Platte befestigt und dann mit Kies beschwert. Sonst schwimmt der Turm oben. Da ich das Set ausschließlich für Deko zwecke nutze habe ich die Teile geklebt. Ich habe es im Angebot für 35€ gekauft. Leider direkt am Lieferungstag 33€.
