I am unashamedly a tech freak, and when I find new technology that I can use in my profession I get even more excited. This Laser Measure Pro with Bluetooth checks all the boxes! First things first. This little device is very cool looking. Check! The subdued matte finished screen makes it feel like I'm holding a 'secret' device. Love that. The device fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. Check! It's about a half inch shorter than my now 'old' laser measurement tool, light weight, and easy to 'hang' on my wrist. There's a sharp looking metal lanyard hook for affixing a strap (strap not included). No more having to replace batteries in the middle of measuring a property. Check! This one's rechargeable. I've used it quite a bit already, and the battery level is still full. I can save all the measurements I want to my heart's content. Check! The bluetooth capability was a must for me this time, as my 'old school' device didn't have that feature. The manual (with type that my aging eyes could barely read ... the only 'con' for me) provided very accurate instructions for bluetooth pairing. My only tip is to use the QR code that's inside the manual rather than the one on the outside of the box. That QR code didn't work. Most importantly, this device works very well. Check! Measurements are very accurate and the large LCD screen is easy to read day AND night (as I tested measuring outside in the dark ... very cool). Overall, I am very happy with this little device. I don't care how good/long the stand- out is for a tape measure, but taking measurements over 10 ft is problematic. Either you need a helper or risk snapping the tape and scratching something, or endless frustration and wasted time. Enter this thing! Pros: 1. Small, light weight 2. Accurate, with one exception 3. Virtual tape measure is awesome 4. Stores/displays previous 4 measurements, a job saver 5. Instant calculations for area and opposite/ajacent triangle distances. 6. Lanyard, attachment hole 7. Only 2 buttons to work it 8. Intuitive to use Cons: 1. Doesnt feel real durable. 2. Angle measurement never gets to 90 deg despite level surface, can't seem to go over 89.7 deg. 3. No soft touch rubber for good grip and slip resistance. 4. Lanyard hole while there, is fairly wide and narrow, making all but string your option too feed through it. No complaints about battery life, but haven't had to use it for extended periods. Also, i haven't tried the app you can use to connect to it, as it's been great without it so far. This is indispensible for the home owner, is perfect for in home, room type meaurements needed for hanging items, repair work, or renovation. Beats a tape measure, even the good ones. Read more

Really accurate, good form factor, well made. Though I find the menus a bit tricky to navigate and know exactly what I'm looking at. Like "is this measurement including or excluding the length of the device" Probably I just need to spend more time using it but it only comes out occasionally. But it's far quicker and easier than needing two people to hold a tape. Read more
