After looking for a good automatic watch for a year or so, this Seiko was the right choice. I do a lot of stuff with my hands and wanted a watch that could take a decent beating and still look good anywhere, anytime. I like that the crown is angled and more out of the way than most watches. The bezel is almost too difficult to move, but I’d rather it stay put than move too freely. The color and overall look are eye catchers and nice to look at. I wish it had the magnified date, but honestly it really doesn’t matter. Maybe for the next one. It might lose a minute or two if you don’t move it too much for a few days, but that’s part of the winding/auto experience for me. I was working on my car and scraped the crystal. I thought it was OK since I’d already hit it and even had a wrench fall right on it at one point. I did manage to scratch it REALLY lightly, but it doesn’t affect the visibility in any way. Even though it’s not a true sweeping second hand, it doesn’t get much smoother for the price. Would definitely buy again. Read more
