I used a digital measuring device to make sure my tripod opening was exactly 35mm. It is, exactly. So imagine my disappointment to receive these little gems, advertised at 35mm, but something less than that in reality. They fit loose in my tripod head. They hold the camera just fine, that's great, but don't instill the greatest confidence when it's all loosey goosey in there. They do the job, but not nearly as well as the OEM that I lost. If you're an anal person who likes to have everything just so, these will frustrate you and you'll probably return them. In that case, don't waste your time. If you're the kind of person where if it works, keeps your camera safe, and don't mind some jiggling around, then these will work fine. Don't say you weren't warned. Read more

This quick release plate was a replacement for a plastic one that broke far too easily. This one is slightly longer, appears stronger and fits perfectly.
