I bought 4 of these back in the beginning of 2024 for 4 HP ProDesk 600 G1 (MT) and case swapped all 4 of them. These adapters allowed it to be case swapped.. with a little trick of course... you see if you just plug this adapter in and power the aftermarket psu you bought for it.. expecting it to work, the chances are slim to none. What I found out through a GODSEND of a forum on the internet was, you have to Switch power on the PSU to the ON position first then plug the adapter in. I know this sounds a tiny bit sketchy.. and that's because it is. But you only have to do it if you first go to plug the PC or each time you go to unplug or move you're PC. If you want to see more info on what I'm talking about, I made some mediocre YouTube videos when I was just first starting out on making YouTube videos... my name on YouTube is... ---> RyesTechWorld.
