I got a bargain price on this, but I have to say it’s well worth every penny. The basket is a great size and quite big compared to a 7l fryer I had before. It looks good and is so easy to clean. Something I cook regularly tasted so much better done in this air fryer than my old one, which I was surprised by. It does everything you could want a fryer to do, roast, bake, grill, dehydrate, defrost, air fry, reheat and presets for various foods. I haven’t used any oil spray in this. Food tastes really good cooked in this, I also like that you can change the height of the base to grill or cook quicker. Yes it is especially noisy when it is preheating but does quieten down a bit once it’s cooking. You can also set and change the timer and temperature manually if you prefer to. This air fryer also has the highest temperature I’ve seen, most only go to 200°c but this one’s maximum temperature is 220°c. I couldn’t have afforded the price but got a bargain which I’m delighted with. Read more

Pros: -- Perfect capacity size for one large or two small portions -- Very easy to keep clean -- Looks great, and runs quiet -- Easy to lift lid and check progress -- Easy to lift the cooking dish out -- Not just an air-fryer; it can also roast & bake without using any oil -- It's faster and more energy efficient than an oven Cons: -- It's not as fast as it claims to be -- It's got a large footprint (see pics) -- The dish could have had plastic handles (like my rice cooker) so as to minimize the need for oven gloves -- Air-frying is a whole new procedure to learn Everyone seems to be getting sucked in to the air-fryer trend, but I was determined to resist it. Besides, air-fryers all seemed either too small, too expensive, or too much of a faff to clean. What I really wanted was a halogen oven! Because where air dryers are large contraptions, usually with small drawers, and no windows, I'd seen halogen cookers that were pretty much just a big pyrex dish with a chunky lid. I liked the idea of being able to see the progress, and I liked that most of the product was cooking space. However, after looking into the running-costs (and, therefore environmental friendliness) of different cooking methods, I changed my tune. Air-fryers beat conventional ovens and halogen cookers. They're perhaps not as efficient as a modern microwave, but I'm not a fan of microwave ovens. I was looking for something that could cook for one or two people. I also wanted versatile enough to more than just roast potatoes. Most recommendations were 'Ninja' this or 'Ninja' that, but I'm not a fan of those wee drawers on the Ninjas, especially at their price point. Anyway, long story short, I found this! It looks great, it does everything I need, and more! I love that the lid lifts up to reveal a large cooking dish (5.5l). And I love how easy it is to clean after use too. It doesn't seem to cook 75% faster than a conventional oven, but it is pretty quick! I've been using this for a month now and I'm very happy with it. I've cooked vegetables, chicken, fish n chips, and even slow cooked a beef stew in it. As you can see from the photographs, the unit takes up a fair bit of space in my small kitchen. But I think it's worth it. There seems to be a lot less prep involved when air-frying, so losing some prep space is a fair trade-off. In the pictures, I'm cooking fish & chips. I've chopped potatoes into wedges, drizzled in a little oil, and set the machine foi 20 mins at 205°c on the 'potato' setting. After 10 mins, I lift the lid, use oven gloves to remove the dish, give it a shake to toss the potatoes and add in a frozen fish fillet. With 5 mins remaining, I flip the fish over, and turn the potatoes. And that's it! A hot, healthy meal in 20 mins (I also steamed some broccoli on the hob, it's not all beige food, honest!). The best part is that there's virtually no mess. I just ate the meal, then wiped the cooker-dish clean with a damp, soapy cloth. In the past I would have had to par-boil the wedges, then painstakingly flip them every 10 mins as they sat in the oven for 40 minutes. So it would have taken 3x longer, and used a pan, a strainer and a baking tray, which will need to be washed. The unit lets off a fair bit of steam while cooking, so if you plan on using it frequently, I'd advise not keeping it under your overhead cupboards. The only downside I've encountered in a month of regular use (3-4 times per week), is that I'm having to Google-search the timings for pretty much everything! The instructions on the fish fillet, for example, don't mention cook times (from fresh or frozen) for an air-fryer. But I don't mind a learning curve 🙂 Read more

So, I tried out the SatisFry Air Extra Large for the first time today, and I have to say, I'm impressed. I decided to test it with a batch of chips, and they turned out perfectly crispy—better than I expected for a first go. The pre-set programme made it super easy; I just selected the option for chips and let it do its thing. The size is great too. I made enough to feed the family with plenty of room to spare, which is a nice change from my old, smaller air fryer. It’s quick as well—I noticed it cooks faster than my oven and didn’t heat up the kitchen as much, which is a bonus. It does take up a bit of counter space, but for the results I got today, it’s worth finding a spot for it. Overall, it’s made a strong first impression, and I’m looking forward to trying out more recipes with it. Read more

Very pleased with this product. Gives consistent results, easy to use, easy to wash and keep clean, cheap to run. The only downside is that it is just one drawer, which limits its usefulness. But if it is adequate for what you want, I can definitely recommend it. Read more

About the product: Since it has a fan on the top and the concealed grill at the bottom, I can cook rice and all other curried food, grill, fry and much more. Cleaned the basket and used it as soon as it arrived, the most straightforward kitchen appliance ever. Turn it on - press on the food type you are cooking and the timer and temperature are automatically set and it just starts cooking! It has a divider for the basket so you can also cook two things at once at different levels. It gives you a reminder to shake the basket so that the heat and crispiness is even for the whole cook.
