I have a 59cm thigh to 51cm kneecap circumference and I got the 2XL for a firm grip. It slips and rolls a little at the top but not to a point where it becomes unsupportive. I worked through a 5 hour shift with it under my jeans and was constantly moving and my knee always felt supported. It's thick and there's a circle of foam padding at the knee that's quite cushiony. All in all a good compression. I wouldn't size up or I know it wouldn't be as supportive. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars for the slip and being a little tight for comfort on my thigh, but decent when it rolled down with use. Read more

Dad's been wearing it for a couple days ; he's very happy and knee/leg is feeling better while wearing he does say it rolls down at the back ( went by size chart) My only concern is it says " no allergies or itchyness" on the ad for the brace ; but on the box it's 20 something % latex ; I am infact allergic to latex ; so obviously won't be touching it; but I'm unsure how it can say no allergies and contain things anyone can be allergic to?
