For an almost $300 keyboard I expected better. This is my first time with a 60% keyboard and while i love the extra space on my desk, I'm left wondering what's wrong with it. It regularly disconnects and reconnects with the PC and sometimes becomes unresponsive, causing me to reset the dongle for it. Whether I use Bluetooth, the 2.4 GHz setting OR ried mode, I does the exact same thing. Sometimes it disconnects and reconnects on it's own, other times it becomes unresponsive, other times I have to reset the dongle for it to work right, and yet other times it register's an input and refuses to respond until I reset the dongle. I thought it was interference with the mouse as another reviewer mentioned, or a bad dongle or cable, that is until I put it in wired mode and got the exact same thing! The only things left that I can try are swapping the dongles around to another USB port as I have to use the extenders to go from USB C to USB as I don't have any USB type C ports on my motherboard , OR to uninstall the Steel Series GG Client which would make my headset useless and mess up the RGB AND my Mouse's DPI and other settings. While writing this review the keyboard became unresponsive 5 times, disconnected and reconnected 3 times and registered input twice after I had released the key. This is become infuriating as in games my characters run in whatever direction I previously pressed or if I haven't pressed a key before it becomes unresponsive or disconnects and reconnects, it sometimes refuses to work until I again reset it, and it can sometimes happen multiple times in a 10 minute window or take multiple attempts to unplug and plug the dongle or cord in before the keyboard comes back around fully. It's a real shame because if not for the connectivity issues I listed, the board is awesome. It's lightweight, more quiet than my K70 RGB MKII and has a nicer feel to it. I've even mastered how to use the FN key to access my media controls and all the other keys I no longer have. The battery life also isn't that bad, lasting about 5 days depending on usage/ how long I'm gaming for, which was more than I had expected It's a shame that it's taken the Board a month to get like this, otherwise I would have returned it by now or gotten a replacement, but since I already sold my old Keyboard and mouse, I'm stuck with this. I got this keyboard so o could lean back in bed and play games like Destiny but now I can't. I will try further troubleshooting and HOPE that fixes the problem, but other than repositioning the dongles, trying another port or uninstalling the engine/ uninstalling and reinstalling the engine and just leaving the mouse and keyboard on my Bluetooth dongle that I use for my phone and controllers. Hopefully that fixes it otherwise I may have to a back to a wired keyboard. Read more
