Of all the things I bought on Amazon, this is hands down the worst product I have ever received. It just flat out doesn't work. the pointer on screen just is all over the place which is literally the only job it has to do. It has one purpose and it can not fulfill that single purpose. Absolutely, 100% useless, waste of money and I would be more satisfied reaching into my pocket, pulling out actual money and burning it. do not buy this. What the directions DON'T mention is you cannot program volume and power buttons with USB Dongle plugged into a device. Unplug dongle and program remote, then replace dongle. First day impression, it works and only did two double taps while typing the alphabet and numerals. That's 2 double taps out of 36 (a problem I have had with every mini keyboard I've tried). I did notice that on USB dongles, they don't work well behind TV. I had to get them visible from my couch, 15 feet away. Default mode is air mouse, so you have to disable mouse before controlling the fire stick home screen with the rocker. I am using it on fire stick and it works. I was unable to get either version of wechip to work with my new ONN streaming pro. I haven't trouble shooted or tested ONN USB yet to see if it's another problem. Purchased to replace my nvidia shield remote. it's cheaply made but so lightweight it doesn't matter and the buttons feel nice. the problem is the back/home combo button. the long press for home seems difficult to reproduce consistently. too short, it's back. too long, its nothing or back. worst part is that with AndroidTV at the home screen you double tap the home button to bring up recently used apps. basically impossible with this remote. great remote but should definitely have separate home and back buttons. UPDATE: There exists an app you can download from the playstore that will allow you to remap the buttons. its called 'Button Mapper'. I was able to use this remote with that app just fine. However, WeChip reached out to further understand the issues I was having and offered a different remote. I went with the R2. While that remote also has its issues, it has all the features: separate home/back/menu, keyboard on back, microphone with voice button, plus timed backlight. I've been using it for awhile now and am very happy. AndroidTV users, I definitely recommend that one instead. Also I'm am super impressed with the amount of questions asked by their team. It is a China company so some language barrier but they genuinely cared and ultimately helped me out. that's a quality in a company that's increasingly rare so for that reason im raising my rating to 5 stars. It gets one star for the look. The IR learning function did not work. I contacted support, they asked me some questions and then they went dark. Retuned the remote. Update: the WeChip support sent me a replacement remote. It works perfectly. I really encourage anyone with an issue to contact their support. Read more

I was skeptical but I still bought this thing. And it's a terrible product. 1. The power button does absolutely nothing. 2. That "air mouse" function? Get ready for some serious shoulder excercise because the air mouse will fight you every step of the way. 3. No media control buttons. Only volume control. 4. The keyboard is passable but you cannot use multiple key functions with it. It doesn't have a windows key. Read more
