Pre ordered this figure as soon as I saw it listed on Amazon. Amazing figure!! The sculpt is awesome and the texture is good. Although he's not as big as I was hoping. Because of that, I don't think he's worth the entire $40. At most, $30-35. Bane is sufficiently massive, with some really nice articulations. You can get him into the back-breaker pose that his hands are clearly meant to be made for, but it would be nice to have gotten some alternate fist hands. I still give it a very high score, since he's a phenomenal representation of Bane in Knightfall! Read more

Bane is roughly the same size as the Killer Croc megafig (a bit smaller than Swamp Thing, which is easily the best megafig thus far), entailing that the scale of this figure is just right when the venom is flowing. The paint is great, all the joints are tight, and he's fairly easy to stand and pose (not always the case with these McFarlane figures). You'd have to get really creative to replicate the iconic Knightfall cover, but he looks awesome overall. Definitely closer to his classic tactical look than to the more recent luchador-esque renditions. Bane's head articulation is lacking for obvious reasons. His hands are massive, so it would be nice if one of them articulated or at least was slightly closed; it's nearly impossible for him to grip anything. That kind of sucks, because this figure is begging to be in the midst of tossing stuff and people around. Overall, this is another awesome figure from McFarlane. If you are considering buying it, you'll love it. Also, the box art is beautiful and frame-worthy. Read more
