I have been very impressed with the capacity on this thing. I got it for a tornado/disaster kit for home, but I have found that I keep taking it out for use on car trips, and recently I threw it in the car real quick when I had to take a family member to the hospital. I have long been a fan of Anker products, and I own many chargers, batteries and even their Eufy Robovac. Recently I acquired a new eBike, and since I am taking longer trips than I ever have before, I bought this portable charger because I needed a reliable power source for my phone and portable speaker while out and about. The charger has a sleek design - albeit a little heavy, a fast charging speed, and a long battery life. It can charge my phone, tablet, and laptop without any issues. The weight, while some may see as a negative, is more than made up for in the capacity this thing has. If you want capacity, you will have to sacrifice a little comfort and space. The device itself is almost all battery though, so the size is quite respectable given the output. With that said, after a few months of use, I noticed that one of the USB-C ports became loose and started to cause connection problems. Sometimes the charger would stop charging my device if I moved the wire slightly. I was very disappointed because I really liked this product, and I was just outside of the Amazon return period for it. I decided to contact Anker directly through email and explain the situation. They responded quickly and asked me to send them a video of the device showing the issue. I did that and they confirmed that it was a defective unit. They apologized for the inconvenience and offered to send me a brand-new device within a couple of days. They also told me to keep the original device as a convenience to me. I am very impressed by their customer service and how they handled the situation. They were courteous, professional, and generous. The new device arrived quickly, and it works perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase, and I would recommend Anker products to anyone who needs a portable charger (or really anything in their product line!). This is great if you’re going to need a lot of battery life to charge devices. It does what it says and I can charge my iPhone throughout the week before recharging. It also has a low power charge function for AirPods and smaller devices. It is pretty heavy but in a backpack or sling, you won’t notice it. This is my daily battery pack for work, travel or when I know I’ll be away from an electrical outlet. Great for airports and vacations. I’ve been on long flights when the usb outlets didn’t work, no problem! It charged my iPad and our phones either way ease. The charge time for the pack is very long unless you get higher capacity plug, I use my MacBook plug and it charges fast. Just remember, it is heavier than the low capacity packs but I like the comfort of knowing it will charge all my devices with ease of if I ever need it to. Read more

I have the Anker power bank last 2023 ( Anker 337 Power Bank (PowerCore 26K) Portable Charger, 26800mAh External Battery with Dual. That one last up to two days. So I thought this 40,000 could last more than 2 days. But I was wrong. When I got it I charge it and waited until all the lights are complete signalling that it is fully charge, that initial charge alone has taken more than 24 hours. Now even as fully charge it could last only for 2 days meaning the same with my 26,800 which makes me wonder what is the point of the additional? This is thicker, heavier than the 26,800 probably 3x thicker. As I type this review - I charge it at 08:00AM and now it is almost 06:00PM but the lights are only to meaning not yet fully charge. See it takes longer to charge but the battery drains fast. I only use it for iphone. Read more

I bought this because of its massive storage, 40000MA. As its power delivery is 30Watt, this is fine for phone charging,but is slow if you want to charge a computer. Note that a laptop running ideal takes between 12 to 30 watt when doing casual work. Mac M processors take less which means this one charges my Mac Book 16 inch with with M1 Max processor. Note that when the M1 Max when running at its maximum speed, it consumes up to 80 watt meaning, 30 watt will just extend the battery life and not charge the computer. For for most use, my M1 Max uses around 20 watt when browsing the internet and doing casual work.Then what is the issue. The issue in this batter is once you use it at its 30 watt limit, it becomes so hot from the front. This means, if you have a computer and using it for charging, the 40,000 MA become around 20,000 as around half the energy is wasted as heat. So, why to carry that weight. Get a 20,000MA with 40 to 65 watt or more power delivery and you will have the same usable power. This answer why people complain about the short power of this massive power bank.So, this power bank is only recommended for charging phones and small tablets or low powered devices like camera. Use it for devices that need maximum of 15 watt and it will work fine. Even when you charge it at 30 watt, it becomes hot. This model should be discontinued and replaced with higher power delivery ones. Some models today go up to 240 watts. Even if we do not need more than 100 watt for any computer charge, a power bank should not run hot to conserve its energy.
