To be honest, I was skeptical whether to buy it or not because I saw mixed reviews but I gave it a shot. I was combination skin but lately I have been on the drier side. I tried using face scrubs and exfoliants but nothing changed. I used this for two days and the glow that comes after using those pads is incredible! My face feels so much softer as well! I was not surprised to love these exfoliating pads for my sensitive combo skin, as i haven't had a single medicube product I haven't liked. Helped clear my clogged (and i mean CLOGGED) pores on my cheeks after only a few uses, and as an aesthetician, that can sometimes be difficult to find at an affordable price. That being said, I do have some advice for people looking to buy this product: 1) If you have sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend using this all over your face without testing it on a small section of skin. If your skin reacts badly to it, you don't want it happening on your whole face 2) I would NOT recommend using these pads every day, as over exfoliating can destroy your skin barrier and that is never fun to deal with (i personally use it 2-3 times a week but it's all about preference) 3) I wouldn't recommend beginning use of multiple new products at the same time, start slow when incorporating new products into your routine. This is just in case you do start breaking out after starting use, it is easier to find the product that may be the cause of said irritation. 4) If you do start using this product, PLEASE make sure you are using daily spf, as both AHAs and BHAs can make your skin significantly more sensitive to the sun with regular use. (you should be using spf daily already but we all know not everyone does) 5) I would recommend trying not to use these pads the same night/morning you may use Vitamin C, Retinoids, or Benzoyl Peroxide as they contain Lactic acid, Salicylic acid, and Betaine salicylate. Using with vitamin C has the chance of irritating your skin as it can make your skin overly acidic. Using with retinoids has the chance of irritating your skin and causing peeling, and retinoids also increase sensitivity to the sun. Using with BP can DRY out your skin big time, leading to irritation. (Look into skin cycling for more guidance) 6) Remember, EVERYONE'S SKIN IS DIFFERENT. What works for most, might not work for you and what works for you, might not be the favorite for others and that's okay (This product is really popular on social media rn, that doesn't mean its the best for everyone, make sure you do your own research before purchasing) Read more
