I debated for a while in getting these, but they look fantastic, and I an already planning on ordering the extension kit to fit in another area of the casing. Quality is usual Corsair excellence, however they did take a bit of fiddling with to get them all lit initially, you have to ensure the magnetic bars join the connection perfectly. There is seamless integration with Corsair iCue, they are very bright, the magnetic adhesion is good and they were fairly simple to install. Note you will need 2 x Sata Power and one spare USB to your motherboard but you do get the lighting node pro included with the starter pack The individual triangles are well made and lighting performance is good. I used this on the *outside* of my case, despite the design clearly being intended for internal use. It looks absolutely amazing, and is very bright. It fills the corner that my PC sits in very nicely. I've attached a picture, all of the lighting behind the PC tower is from the LC100 starter kit - a beautifully bright addition that really light up a previously dark area. I have light towers behind my monitors, two mousepads (XXL and XXXL)m keyboard, mouse, headphones, headphone stand, H100i, and four ML fans in the case - it makes a gorgeous, well combined light set. The Corsair software even has an addon to control the light on my Asus 4070 so they match! An entire "lighting environment" is an amazingly nice feature I have fallen in love with thanks to Corsair. For the "USB Header" connection that the hub comes with, you can use a normal USB cable with the same connector (I *think* its a USB Mini-B connector, I may be wrong) and plug it into a USB port instead of using a header on the mobo. Its a bit of an older connector, I found a cable that worked that was for an old SD card reader, and I know I had an old digital camera with the same connection. Read more

I love these lights, you do not have to use the icue software i am using signalrgb with them. You can use all colors of the rainbow and everything in between to either the entire set or individually. Corsair lights for my corsair 7000d case. I highly recommend, if you get two sets just keep in mind you need 3 extra sata power cords. Read more
