I was very excited to try this game with my family, but unfortunately, I had to return it. The game was broken right out of the box – the letter keys didn’t go up or down as they should, making it impossible to play. While the audio and timer functions worked after adding batteries, the letter keys simply didn’t function as advertised. To make matters worse, it appears to be a fake copy of the original game. It lacked any brand labels, not even the usual white disclaimer/warning label on the bottom, and the printing on the letters looked cheap and faded. Very disappointing, especially with all the positive reviews. I’d strongly recommend checking for these issues right away if you decide to buy, but honestly, I’d advise avoiding this one altogether. Fun, quick game to play with friends. The rules are straightforward and easy to learn. The only downside is that it’s hard to distinguish between alphabets that have already been played/pressed vs those that are not played yet. The finishing of the actual Tapple device is a bit cheap. Read more
