I built it myself even though I am 12! It took me 3 days to build! Looks awesome in both modes! It is quite easy to transform! Just the 8th step is tricky because he can be a bit fragile and the waist falls apart, so I take the upper part of the torso off and put it back on every time I transform him. I am really proud of myself how I built it myself! And the instructions book has Optimus Prime's stats and it lets you know more about Optimus Prime and the original Optimus Prime toy. It is unbelievable how 2 brands made it together and the design is awesome! I am really happy with this set! Read more

The articulation in robot mode is surprisingly good, with movable arms, legs, and even the head. I bought this for my coworker friend who is an avid Transformers fan. He collects the comics and bobbleheads. I took a chance because he never mentioned owning legos but always seemed to appreciate some of the legos I had on my desk at work.
