Purchased at 124 SGD. Good sound and mic quality at this price. Razer SW provides quite some mic tuning. The compare video can be found on YT, actual experience is close to those review. I personally choose V2 over V2 X cuz I'm particular on the wire material so I pay the extra. But TBH I think if your budget is right at the 130 SGD, V2 X is better for value. Also if your head is bigger than average people, this headset should be the most comfortable one to put on, compare to HyperX, Logitech equivalents. The design is not that aesthetic, per se, but its mechanics does allow for low pressure on your head. For someone play games for more than 3~4hrs a day, comfort can be important. The only thing I felt unsatisfied is that although the mic is great on this headset(if you use dedicated sound card), the bundled usb sound card compresses it too much that it just become mediocre. I bought a new monitor, which doesn't have speakers in it (a deliberate choice) so wanted some good headphones that I could use to watch films with and play games with. These are *great all around*, with clear and solid sound. One small note—if you run sound tests, you might notice some **rattling in the 1-20 Hz range**, but in actual gaming, it's not really an issue. The *THX Spatial Audio* works well, but sometimes the *audio driver can bug out*, requiring a quick unplug/replug or a restart of the *Razer software* (which does need to be running for full functionality—probably the biggest downside). The *mute button* is a nice touch, and the knobs for volume and controls are super convenient. The *fabric ear covers* are a big win—they won’t flake like fake leather over time, and best of all, *they’re comfortable with glasses*, which is something I always struggle with on other headsets. Within the last six months I've spent over 600CAD on headsets for my PC. One of the headsets I returned, I kept the other one [Logitech G ProX?] and spent another 100CAD on a new microphone for it, a Blu mic that was purchasable after the fact. No matter what I did, these headsets were awful. I struggled through this for almost six months before finally giving up and going back to my Blackshark. I immediately started getting compliments on my voice. I bought the newest Blackshark a few days later, this one, plugged it in today and the microphone quality is slightly better. I didn't need to purchase it, but I'm grinding that compliment rep now. I use Equalizer APO with Peace Equalizer installed. I messed with Peace Equalizer to make it perfect for this headset and my god, it sounds amazing. This headset responds really well to an equalizer. I've had people ask me if I do ASMR, telling me my microphone quality is amazing, my voice sounds beautiful. I'm so happy. Maybe out of the box it wouldn't sound as good, but when you run Equalizer APO and Peace as well, the sound quality you can get out of it is amazing. I cannot say the same for other headsets I've used. The Logitech G Pro was awful for mic quality, and so was whatever other headset I tried and returned. They cost more than double the amount of this headset and the mics on them were just awful. This is the headset. It's a good price, a very fair price, the sound quality for music in incredible and very bassy as well. It's also super comfortable. I bent it a bit at the top to make it press less on my ears, and the flexibility of this headset is much better than others. You can bend it to fit any head. Earpads are super comfortable, more comfortable than the last version as well. And the cord for this headset is longer than previous versions, like the one with the green cord is about six inches shorter. It makes it much easier to use the headset, even with those extra few inches. All in all, I won't be buying other headsets anymore. Razer far outshines much more expensive headsets. ♥ Read more

Purchased for online schooling with frequent calls and video recording requirements. Great feedback from folks on the microphone. Super clear, no background noise. I did have to work with the microphone settings in windows because the mic was TOO sensitive at first. I like that there is a mute button right on the headset. The presentation I just recorded the sound quality was excellent, lots of compliments from my classmates. Not too quiet/far away - super crisp and clear. The headphones are NOT what I would call noise cancelling. They do a pretty good job of reducing environmental noise, they are entirely over your ears afterall, but TBH if that is a major requirement for you: might want to look for ANC headphones - I have a pair, but they hurt my ears and the mic sucks. So. For this price: these are a gem. Also... You do look like a fighter pilot. They are large. haha. Read more

Me gustó bastante la verdad, buen sonido para jugar en consolas y es lo suficientemente agradable al ponerlo claro que con el tiempo empecé a sentirlo un poco más duro las almuadillas, sin embargo en el tema de laptops es un poco malo la verdad el sonido no se siente tan bien tuve que usar una aplicación para poder mejorar el sonido (Sin usar los cables para el 7.1). The Razer BlackShark V2 X Gaming Headset is what I was presented with when I googled "Durable Gaming Headset" while shopping for a headset for my 11-year-old son who goes through xbox controllers and gaming headsets like #00 buckshot through a goose. Sure there are less expensive headsets, but this one is well built and for its price it is shockingly feature-rich. I can't yet speak to the durability; but, out-of-the box, this headset is so nice that I had to have one myself. The sound quality is even better than my $200 Sennheiser headphones and the mic is exceptionally clear (I play in parties with my son) and the flexible mic boom is much more durable than the rigid plastic ones. These headsets are comfortable and the volume knob and mute button are handy and effective. The noise-cancelling is, again, better than that of my Sennheisers. My only gripe is a minor one and that is that these headphones don't fold up for storage, which is not a big deal for a dedicated gaming headset, but might be good to know before you purchase them.
