Why did you choose this product over others?: I decided to invest in a decent cordless vacuum and after much research I decided on this Shark. I am endlessly impressed with how well this vacuum performs. I have cats and kids who trail hair and dirt freely. The shark is genuinely a pleasure to use and so simple to empty and store. It bends to reach under my bed effortlessly and folds back on itself the opposite way, halving in size for easy storage. It is such a well thought out product in all aspects. I bought this to keep the area around my rat cages clean, because love to kick their bedding (hemp and wood shavings) everywhere, requiring vacuuming at least once a day, and my previous vacuum wasn't keeping up with what it needed to suck. No such trouble with this Shark though! It sucks up hemp chips and wood shavings like a champ! The auto-sense works perfectly and adjusts the power necessary in that area with no issues. It grabs up a lot of pet hair too, just as described. I've attached a video of some excess debris in the middle of a cage-clean today to show how well it goes! It also picks up and filters an insane amount of dust! Looking at my previous vacs, you wouldn't know how much dust was lingering about in carpets, on upholstery, curtains, etc. This Shark gives my air purifier a run for its money as far as dander and dust-filtering goes. The little air pod it came with leaves the air post-vacuum with a nice, fresh sent as well. The folding part of the tube makes for both easy storage, and a cinch for getting under anything that has a 90° angle, which is perfect for someone who has a back condition like me - no more bending and hunching and getting down on the floor! The main head also has a very versatile axis that makes it easy to manoeuvre and get into places that used to be fiddly or troublesome. I have extremely long hair that passes my bum and I swear I shed more than my long-haired, double-coated Pomeranian cross, but I have had zero issues with tangling in the vacuum head, which has been a blessing compared to my previous vacs, which have needed hair build-up to be chopped off the roll every few weeks. Quite literally, the only con I can think of is the tank size. However, that's no problem to me as my house is small and I have multiple bins about, so I don't mind emptying it as I go. The one-button empty mechanism is a blessing and I'm glad I no longer have to fiddle with the tank. All in all: amazing vacuum! Does everything it claims and exceeded my expectations. As a user of proper vacuum cleaners I was skeptical about cordless vacuum cleaners. Unfortunately my experience proved true. As soon as I got it I tried to vacuum a strand of hair and wouldn’t come. I felt like I am holding a fan not a vacuum. I tried vacuuming the tiles, I had to go over the piece of crumble four times to pick it up. This is a good product. I love how it will clean the dust off the tiles and make them shine even before you mop them. It’s NOT very quiet and NOT very lightweight. Not for women at least. The machine comes with different fittings. When used with these fittings the machine becomes very lightweight. It will make your life easier if you vacuum the walls and windows. This is the 3rd cordless stick vacuum cleaner I bought in the last 2 years and it is by far the best one so far. excellent construction quality, all parts snug nicely in place and most importantly cleaning the dust chamber does not make you feel it will break up in your hands. Previously I bought two models of the Proscenic brand, and although they are also very good products, the Shark is by far a superior vacuum. Battery life is adequate for a 2 bedroom apartment and so is the dust canister. It is very quiet and efficient at the same time. I am very impressed so far. I waited for the right offer to appear on Amazon, because Shark is considerably more expensive than Proscenic, it was worth the wait. Read more

After reading the hype and good reviews thought I’d try this brand instead of my usual Dyson. It looks good but head is maybe tad too wide for corners etc and the battery lasted a decent time and charges fast. Like the folding element and easy dust disposal but… and the only reason I’d never buy another Shark… it just has awful suction power!! It comes nowhere near the Dyson so now I’m back using my 8 year old Dyson over a brand new Shark. Maybe I just got a bad model…. Read more

Nachdem unser alter Akku Staubsauger den Geist aufgegeben hat bekam ich mich auf die Suche nach einem Nachfolger. Wenn es um das Thema Akku Staubsauger geht fällt natürlich immer wieder der Name Dyson. Irgendwie war mir jedoch der Betrag zu hoch den ich für eine Staubsauger bezahlen sollte. Nach diversen Recherchen im Internet, bin ich auf den Shark Akku Staubsauger aufmerksam geworden. Nachlesen und studieren diverse Erfahrungsberichte, ist die Entscheidung relativ schnell gefallen und der Hai war schon am Weg zu uns. Was soll ich sagen, er macht genau das was ein Staubsauger machen soll er saugt und das sogar sehr gut. Lieferung erfolgt mit diversen Zubehör wobei es hier die Versionen EU und EUT gibt. Unterschied ist, dass beim EUT noch eine motorisierte die Haarbürste dabei ist. Der Akku Staubsauger lässt sich zusammenklappen und kann somit platzsparend aufbewahrt werden. Ebenfalls kann das Saugrohr geknickt werden dass man damit unter jeden Schrank, Bett oder diversen niedrigen Gegenständen saugen kann. Das einzige kleine Manko das ich bis jetzt finden konnte, ist das er nicht alleine steht. Sehr positiv finde ich die Bürste bei dem sich keine Haare verwickeln, dieses Problem hatte ich oft bei dem alten Sauger und es war immer sehr mühsam die Haare wieder zu entfernen. Das Handling ist einfach und unkompliziert und die Saugleistung ist für meine Zwecke wirklich top. Ich habe zwar keine Tiere jedoch zwei Damen im Haushalt mit langen Haaren das ist mindestens so schlimm wie eine Angora Katze jedoch für den Schach kein Problem die Haare restlos zu entfernen. Die Akkuleistung ist für eine 105 m² Wohnung leicht ausreichend. Von meiner Seite eine klare Kaufempfehlung für den Shark Akku Staubsauger. Read more
