ESR always delivers. I've been using ESR since 2020. First for my ipad pro, then added their products to my s24 ultra. And now when I upgraded my ipad pro. I went with this rather than the magic keyboard. Everything about this keyboard is perfect. The typing experience is better than the original magic keyboard. My only gripe for which I have removed 1 star is on the design functionality perspective of the product. It doesn't have pogo pins from which it can seemlessly connect with the Ipad pro, charge it and deliver data via the usb c it has. Both devices are connected via bluetooth and are separately charged. I LOVE this keyboard!!! I have been looking for a keyboard that would work with my IPad Pro 5th Gen tablet, but didn’t want to pay the exorbitant cost of the Apple proprietary Magic keyboard, and didn’t like the typing feel of the Logitech or the less expensive Apple keyboard. This has all the features of the Apple product but also has the backlighting, it tilts to a range of viewing angels, has a great feel to the keys for typing, has a selection of function keys on the top row and many shortcut keys, and was super easy to pair with my IPad. The only thing you have to keep on top of….I noticed a few times that the keyboard was not responding and the iPad keyboard would pop up. There were two reasons for this: the mouse tracker was active on the screen, so I just needed to swipe down on the screen and move the cursor off and away, and secondly, I learned that if the charge on the keyboard was diminished, the keyboard wouldn’t respond to my typing and the iPad screen would pop up. As soon as I plugged in the charger, voila, I was back in business. I never use the tracking pad, so would have preferred a version that didn’t have it, but it doesn’t seem to get in the way for the most part. I always type on my lap and this keyboard is definitely sturdy enough and doesn’t wobble when I type. I tuck the latch under the keyboard when typing so it’s out of the way. It is a bit heavier that my previous keyboard, but I got used to it very quickly. The only think I’d change would be to have a cover with a surface that doesn’t show fingerprints and other marks so much. But you can just use a wet cloth and some warm, soapy water and the marks come off nicely. You will not be disappointed with this keyboard. The price point and quality are impressive! Read more

Purchased this keyboard for my M1 IPad Pro 12.9 Inch and must say that it’s absolutely perfect in terms of usage, value for money, functionality. It’s very simple and easy to use, keyboard travel and clicking feels very good. It’s a joy to type on. It does make the iPad slightly chunky and heavy, but that’s what you get when you want to add a keyboard to the device. The device is totally transformed with this cover. The ESR iPad Air 13 inch Case Keyboard is amazing. The case is really sturdy and looks really sharp with a very strong magnet that holds the iPad in place and the keyboard is sensational. It is back lit with a selection of back light colours to choose from and the keys feel very light and super responsive when typing. The case lid folds back so the iPad is on a perfect angle to view the screen. The precision track pad is also a dream to use when you don't want to use the touch screen. If you use the pencil with any sort of app like GoodNotes, this is not the case for you. The case basically opens to 90 degrees only. That’s great for typing on the keyboard, but not much else. I suppose I should have figured that out from the photos, but I just assumed the case would fully open and lay flat. The case is also EXTREMELY heavy… while that is probably a plus for durability and stability while typing, the thing is a total brick… feel like I have a 1995 laptop in my briefcase. I’d send it back but I stupidly tore up all of the packaging trying (in vain) to carefully open. So a nice solid case if you intend to use your iPad purely as a screen for typing on the keypad. Pretty much worthless if you use it with the pencil or other touch features. Read more

I am looking for an alternarive magic keyboard which is half the price of the apple product. Good thing I ordered 2 weeks before the ESR pencil for my iPAD Pro 12.9. I am completely satisfied with their pencil so I came back to look for their compatible smart keyboard which happened to be available as well. I was surprised that there are 7 backlits to choose from! It's a bit heavy but overall review, I will recommend this to my friends who have ipad pro as well! This is my first time using this ESR keyboard. My first/ initial review is that the key board can be a bit sift and gentle. But I can deny that the outer look and finish and back light in the key board looks good and i am intrigued to use this Keyboard a lot and see what all it can do. Initially i had problem with the delivery, despite i am a prime customer, I haven’t received the product within the time mentioned in the app/website. The delivery was delayed for 2 days. Amazon team has said that it was delayed by the Seller as they has changed the shipping vendor or stuff. Read more

I’m really impressed with the ESR Magic Keyboard for iPad. It works flawlessly, feels very solid, and the build quality is excellent. Typing is comfortable, and the magnetic attachment is strong and secure. I had a recent purchase of the same product for my 11-inch M2 iPad Pro and I so loved it! after several days, I managed to swap my 11-incher to a 12.9-inch M2 iPad Pro, and so I am compelled to purchase this product for my new slate as I am already got used to having it. The 12.9 version of this ESR Rebound magnetic keyboard is more refined than that of the 11-inch version, due to its bigger size, they don't have to mix the shortcut keys to the numeric keys. On the 11-inch, you have to press Fn+shortcut key in order to execute a shortcut command (i.e. increase volume, brightness, etc.), while on the 12.9 model, due to its larger size, there is a plenty of room for additional row of dedicated shortcut keys, and for that, you don't have to use the Fn key anymore which I appreciate a lot and I love the most, saving precious time by not having to reach for 2 keys combination. Using a shortcut key is just one tap away on the 12.9 model. Unfortunately, I have to return the item due to its defective trackpad. It seems that the trackpad has been divided into three vertical sections, the middle being a deadzone, that area couldn't recognize a circular motion. Returning the item is fast and easy, and refund has been initiated in no time. After receiving the refund amount, I had immediately placed another order of this item with the hope that they would send me with a non-defective one.
