Works great for series S, wanted to store more then 5-8 series X/S games and this does the trick perfectly! If both the 512GB and 1TB are on sale the price difference is usually about 40-50$ more for the 1TB. If you can afford it just get the 1TB model. I don’t regret my purchase because I’m sure at some point they will have a price reduction this essentially doubles the storage on the series S and runs at the same load times as the internal SSD, also as a side note they are “hot swappable” meaning If you buy another down the line you can pop one out and another in while the console is in home menu, I wouldn’t recommend removing it while playing a game from the drive or updating the system… it makes note of this in the instructions. The shipping did take quite a while to get here but the product itself is worth the wait as it allows you to hold about as many series games as the series X will stock and if you upgrade to a series X it should give you about 1.5 TB of fast series game storage. This paired with an external SSD for standard Xbox one and 360 games if you have a lot of those is perfect and suits most peoples needs just fine! Read more
