El producto cumple y lo hace muy bien. Por ahi lei una reseña de alguien que dijo algo como "incluso enfria la habitaciòn" me pareciò bastante exagerado, pero tras casi 2 meses de uso constante puedo decir que funciona mucho mejor de lo esperado. No es un aire acondicionado ciertamente pero si lo prendemos a una potencia media y lo mantenemos funcionando asi mientras trabajamos, es cierto que se siente esta "frescura" al rededor de nuestra laptop y es muy còmodo para trabajar con sus niveles de inclinaciòn. Eso si, no es realmente "portatil" esto esta diseñado principalmente para dejarlo en tu escritorio o mesa de trabajo y simplemente llegar con la laptop, acomodarla y a trabajar! por lo que si piensas moverlo de un lado a otro con tu computadora creo que se volverà un verdadero problema y molestia, pero si la idea es dejarlo fijo, sin duda es de las mejores opciones. Por el costo (que no es bajo) indudablemente creo que vale la pena despuès de verlo funcionar de forma constante, manteniendo de 5 a 10 grados la temperatura abajo comparando si no usaras un ventilador externo (obviamente todo depende del uso y muchas condiciones variables de cada situaciòn). Amazing laptop cooler that truly does what it promises. I have a decent 17" laptop that heats up quite a bit on full load during my development work or during prolonged gaming sessions. This cooler brought down the temps by at least 15 degrees Celsius and upto 22 degrees at times. It is absolutely worth the money (and I know it's overpriced here). He probado muchos Cooling Pads, principalmente de la marca ThermalTake. El principal beneficio de estos realmente es la base sobre la que se coloca la Laptop, y que permite un flujo adecuado de aire a los ventiladores del equipo, no tanto el ventilador externo. Cooling Pads convencionales llegan a reducir hasta 2C la T del equipo, no es mucho pero es enfriar a fin de cuentas. El GT500 sin embargo va más allá, mucho más allá, pero para eso hay un pequeño gran detalle que será decisivo pata muchos. Por la forma que funciona, crea un vacío, y al estar activado se fuerza la corriente de aire por los ductos de la Laptop. Puede reducir la T en uso hasta en 12 C. Yo por ejemplo, lo probé utilizando una Legion 5 con una 1660Ti, en sesiones de juego de 2+ horas. Sin duda el mejor Cooling pad que hay. Pero, no es perfecto, y el detalle que tiene este es uno considerable. El ruido generado. En el máximo nivel de ventilación, que da estos resultados, el ruido es notorio, más que un PS4 primera generación corriendo el último GoW. Se escucha cercano a una aspiradora, y ese detalle para muchos es un deal breaker. Las bromas de que se tiene un jet en la habitación mientras juegas no quedan tal lejos de la realidad. El beneficio que otorga es real y medible por cualquiera, pero si lo vas a adquirir debes ser consiente que para alcanzar este desempeño habrá ruido, y mucho. Solo lo recomendaría si juegas si o si con un headset, y a las personas a tu alrededor, esposa, familia, no les molesta o tienes un sitio designado para jugar porque de lo contrario el ruido es insoportable luego de mucho tiempo. Si este nivel de ruido no es nada para ti, o tienes manera de sobrellevarlo, adelante, es sin duda el mejor Cooling pad que hay, y con efectos RGB (para más FPS) . The GPU temp hit +72C, turn on this cooling fan at low settings for minimum noise and GPU temperature dropped to +68C. Turn fan to maximum and the GPU temperature drops from +72C to +54C. Big difference and no thermal throttling! The cooling pad can be very noisy with the fan running at full capacity, but with headphones on, no system lag, no thermal throttling (usually clocks turned down), the noise is tolerable. Noise canceling headphones are best. If you do not want to used head phones, then be aware that this unit can be very very noisy at max fan speed. Next, the USB expander on the right side is perfect (one to three ports). I can expand one of my USB-C ports to three USB 2.0 ports. This is available on the IETS GT500V1. I used the expander for headphones, camera, and wired mouse. This product is from China (we'll see if it lasts, but Chinese companies can produce and export good products ... if they want to, so far this product appears to be of very good quality and solidly built). Been 6 months(or more) still going strong. I have a 12th gen 12700h and an rtx3080ti mobile config in my laptop, and it generates heat like a furnace used to power 19th century Ships. But this cooler manages to cool it down(I try to game in a cool environment, AC at 21C or below), at the cost of some noise. Was worried about the performance of this cooling pad as I have tested others similar to it in the past, But man this thing is amazing. Before my CPU would peak at around the high 80s to mid 90s (95 C), but now with the IETS GT500 cooling pad CPU core temps peak at around 70 C and the GPU peaks at around 60-65 C. I bought this cooler for my gaming laptop. It performed quite well; It managed to reduce my CPU temperature by 10-15 degrees. GPU temperature was mostly the same because it never really got that hot in the first place, in my case anyway. The build quality is excellent. Despite being made of plastic it’s incredibly robust, especially the adjustable stand. It also comes with metal clips to hold the laptop from slipping downwards when on an angle. The only 2 drawbacks are that it is expensive for what it is and the foam does feel like it would easily tear (it’s foam after all so can’t really blame it, but still, for the price it’s unacceptable). One thing to note is that it is quite noisy but it doesn’t bother me too much. Overall, it’s a great product. If someone is looking for an even better alternative try checking out the Llano Laptop Cooler. It’s more expensive but gives better cooling (5-10 degrees better cooling). Read more

Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on my Legion 5 made my temps go from 80c on my GPU to 60c. It may be loud at max RPM but the foam sealing in the laptop reduces it noise by a bit so it's still enjoyable to play with speakers instead of headphones. Product works for sure, this is something best you can buy for overheating processor's like i9 but fan is crazy loud, I reduce the fan speed at a bearable noise levels I wear glasses so I cant wear hefty headphones for gaming, I game on speaker.
