Pros: I really like these shoes. They they look great, are light, have a great barefoot ground feel, and our extremely breathable. The traction feels solid, as does the shoe. Cons: I'm really not sure what Vivobarefoot was thinking with these laces. The laces that come on the shoes are extremely thin, and ribbed. The ribbing prevents the laces from properly moving and makes it hard to get a comfortable, tight fit. The narrow diameter causes them to cut into my feet when tightened enough to make the shoe feel secure. I almost returned the shoes because of the laces. I ended up swapping the laces with a thicker no-tie elastic lace (see photo). It makes the shoes much more comfortable, and the elastic nature adjusts with movement so they don't cut into me. Also: I wish they had half sizes, because the pair I have are slightly longer than I would prefer but the next size down jams my toes. Read more

Follow the fitting template on their website, definitely does not fit like regular shoes if you have wide feet. The laces that come with it can cut into your foot a little bit if you do them too tight. If they fit right they don't go anywhere anyways with them gently laced. Love them and would recommend. Ordered these shoes because people were raving about it. There's decent good shoes but I wish they were at least 8mm at the toe box and I got the wide side to. Like the Spiez I barefoot that's my dislikes about the shoes. My like are there super lightweight. But all and all I wish there a bit more wider are the toe box!. Read more
