I run a Windows 11 PC where the wifi and bluetooth share the same chip/hardware or something along those lines on the motherboard. I constantly got bluetooth audio cutting out. I bought this because my PC doesn't have built in Bluetooth, and as much as prefer wired headphones for low latency, sometimes the cables can get in the way of other peripherals. This little dongle worked straight out of the box. Plugged it into a USB port, device paired straight away. No driver installation required. The build quality is as expected. It doesn't feel overly cheap. It feels sturdy enough when plugging in and removing. I haven't checked the actual speed, but latency seems pretty low on wireless earbuds set on game mode. There's still some latency, so you couldn't work with sync sensitive stuff, but reasonable enough to watch videos for entertainment or tutorials. Was easy to set up on Windows but the range is weak (and certainly not “long range”). AirPod music playback gets choppy and breaks after around 10m. When connected to my iPhone I get over 90m (line of sight tested in a long airport) with the same AirPods. Read more
