If you’re looking to replace your Ektorp covers, these are the ones to get! I had the white Ektorps from IKEA for almost 4 years and when I decided to get new ones they didn’t make them anymore. Grr. If you’re considering the IKEA Upland covers for your Ektorp couches—don’t bother. They are too big and the material is thin and cheap-feeling. But these replacement covers are a PERFECT fit. The material is thick like the original. I can’t speak for how they’ll hold up in the wash. I used to wash my Ektorps 3x a year and they held up wonderfully! I've had my Ikea Ektorp chairs for more than 15 years and the two sets of covers I had were washed out, worn out and looking very shabby. I searched to find new covers and after seeing the reviews decided to try these. What an amazing find! With just a hint of stretch, they went on like a dream with very few wrinkles right out of the packaging. Love the color and feel of the substantial fabric! Very nice, light grey. Ektorp was discontinued but that means nothing to me. I can get covers right here that are priced reasonably, have good color selection, fit fabulously, clean and wash nicely and look high end. Read more
