Likes: Amazon was very helpful. Guitar quality and finished build plays great. All components fit correctly. Overall great project. Dislikes: 1st order the guitar body was damaged. Attmepted to contact support, never answered. Amazon replaced the kit. 2nd Replacement kit was missing instruction manual and coupon. A small blemish found on face of guitar. Contacted support, no answer. Found instructions online and downloaded them. Was able to complete the build and happy with final results. Just don't expect customer support on this one. The BC Style requires the tuning pegs to be put in specific positions. On the Tuning Pegs, there's a little letter and number to indicate... something? I don't know what for sure, but, they seem to make a difference. This is information that they do not include in their little "how to" video. It should have been on the instructions as it is putting them in the wrong spot means you CANNOT tune the guitar. There's interference between the key and the head. Ultimately, I just swapped the sides the pegs were on and drilled new holes for the screw on the back of the head. It seemed easier and gave more space to actually turn the keys. Also, the pickups are pretty poor quality, being plastic on the outside. One was broken when I went to install it. And I don't recall dropping it or anything... While it has its flaws, it is still a nice build and it does have its pros and cons. Being unfinished means you get to chose the paint style, but it also means you have to paint it (a profesional painter i am not). For the price, it's a nice alternative to an actual BC Rich, even given the flaws. I haven't tuned it and tested the electronics yet though. If I could, I'd five it 2.5 out of 5. Read more
