Began giving this product because I have a French bulldog who has horrible allergies. The size of the chews are inconsistent and I had to cut them up to make them small enough for my 30 lb and under dogs. My French bulldog eats grain-free, gluten-free food, (nothing but the finest), but her itchiness/allergies became so bad that we actually had to put her on Apoquel. I was really hopeful that these chews would be the answer, but they haven't seem to help her at all. I had another dog with a sensitive stomach and these worked great for her! After giving her these chews, she started happily eating her morning and evening meals. Really seemed to help her, but has not done anything for my dog that is itchy and miserable!! ☹️The first two bottles of this product that I received were so incredibly rock hard and dry that I could barely cut them with a knife. My dogs struggled to chew them, but I just assumed this is the nature of the product so I didn't complain, but I actually stopped my subscription because of this. As soon as I ran out, the dog with the digestive issues started being picky about eating again, so I bought another bottle. This time they were softer and easier for my dogs to chew. They do seem to like the flavor and eat them readily when they are soft enough to chew! Unfortunately, they have not helped my dog with allergies, which was the reason for the purchase. #1 thing for trying any new holistic option for your dog, TALK TO YOUR VET!!!! CHECK FOOD ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES OF ANY KIND. THIS IS NOT FOR EVERY SINGLE DOG BRED INTO THE WORLD. My dog, Milo, and pitbull mix, 9+ years old, allergic to all grass, pollen, and 90% of dog food, who is also on a prescription diet, and gets added fruits and veggies with frozen dried real food, takes these twice daily. He was on apoquel and they stopped working for him. FYI, It is known that dogs can become immune to the drug! He was fine not being off of it either during winter, but summer made his skin break out with hives, and started losing fur, even with his diet and it wasn't enough. So I did some research BASED ON MY DOG SPECIFIC NEEDS, and tried Native Pet Allergy Chews. If you want to FOR SURE avoid the chance of getting old treats, go directly to the sellers website. Amazon holds inventory for however long they want, otherwise, the website sells out a lot because batches are fresh. Also, their customer service (not through Amazon) is the best I've ever experienced and show how much they care about people. Anytime we ran out of the chews, Milo would break out again. These reverse it right back. He's never had poop issues with this product and he's extremely sensitive both in his stomach and preferences. These have always passed with flying colors for us. My golden does great since adding this to her daily supplements. Much less itching/biting and her impossible to clear up ears have gotten so much better when combined with the Native Pet probiotics. Only issue is I just opened her next container and the seal was completely opened… stupid of me to not check when I got the shipment but I never had an issue before. Our dog has always struggled with seasonal allergies and itchy skin. We saw these new Native Pet Allergy air-dried chews and were so excited to give them a shot! When they arrived we tried them right away and to our delight our dog loved his new, delicious treats...he even loves them more than the soft chew treats we used to give him! I was previously giving my two Boston terriers the zesty paws aller-immune bites. I saw these online, liked that there were simple and limited ingredients, so I decided to give it a try. I have one boy that licks his paws so much that it stains the white fur. I didn’t notice right away, but he had actually stopped licking his paws. What caused me to notice, was when I started rationing the bites because they were on back order, and he started licking again!
