I know it's a bit pricey but for sure it will satisfy the gamers. The material quality is very nice. Keyboard is a bit small but the feeling is perfect. Fan is a bit noisy but still i did not need to use any extra cooling pad even though I've been playing the games in ultra spec. Overall a great laptop. If you need mobility and performance together just buy it blindfolded. I think I am going to get along with MSI and Steelseries products in the recent future. Read more

There are tons of youtube reviews out there, so ill be brief, the laptop is a really nice upgrade coming from a MSI GT73VR, slimmer and slightly smaller, the most portable gaming laptop I have owned. Performance wise, it can handle any game I have thrown at it, really well, but at the expense of heat, but its expected, 8 cores running at 4.6ghz is amazing on a laptop. Screen is decent, nothing to brag about, a little on dim side, but color wise is great and i don't have much ips glow, its a good screen, only wish it had freesync/gsync compatible. The 12900HK seems to be a beast of CPU, much faster than 11800H, but i do expect it will run even hotter, and to me the 11800H is at the limit of acceptable, but i feel if MSI engineers revamp the CPU cooling then it will be fine, else i feel this is the laptop to own.
