This modem matches xfinity download speed. It gives around 800Mbps avg download speed when my xfinity plan is 1000Mbps download and 100Mbps upload. Howeverr, xfinity is cunning and doesnt give upload speed, the upload speed we get using tjis modem is max 5Mbps. They want us to keep renting from them. Xfinity only supports a handful of modem for both upload and download speeds and they wont give it to you easily. Hitron Coda56 is an affordable option and is what i went with. I've been wanting to buy this for a while but held off as my internet provider didn't offer any good deals on their fastest speed. Then finally it happened, Xfinity offered me an amazing deal and I immediately jump to Amazon and bought this. I was able to install this myself through the Xfinity app which was amazing because sometimes their customer service can be headache driven. Now, this modem really showed that my router was weak and could not handle the speed. I bought the Google nest pro to find out that it's capped at 900mbps. No matter what I did, it would not go any higher than that. I figured, since I just spent a lot of money on the modem, I might as well get a more powerful router and I decided to go with Orbi AX6000 and now I'm getting the speed I wanted but really don't need 😂. It worked perfectly as expected. Easy to setup with Xfinity. Please note this is just a bridge, not a router, so don't buy this if you are looking for a cable modem+router.
