Alright so I tried to include as many pictures with labels as I could, so hopefully this helps some of you see the slight difference in color between the new and old ear pads. The slight color difference is the only thing I dislike about these, but once I change the headband I think it'll match the rest of the headphones really well. Sound quality/noise cancelling is overall the same once I ran the noise cancelling optimizer in the Sony Headphones app. Maybe the slightest dip in noise cancelling, as I'm testing these in a room with a loud fan and a barking dog, but I don't notice any significant difference. If you don't run the optimizer after install it's definitely noticeable, so make sure you do that! They're much more plush/thick, but the old ones I had were pretty compressed from falling asleep with them on. They seem well made, about the same weight as the old ones, and are pretty comfortable. They work the same overall. Just thicker and more comfortable. I got these for 29.99 CAD, not a bad price for an accessory that goes on $300 headphones. Install was super easy, and I'm not savvy with taking apart any electronics. I used a butter/dinner knife to pry the old pads off pretty easily. Don't use a plastic card like I tried to at first, it wasn't really strong enough for it. The knife did no damage to the headphones in any way, just be careful. I say get em, just probably consider getting the headband replacement too because of the color difference, if that bothers you. Read more

I Found the original cushions too soft to the point where the headphones pressed against my ears, making them uncomfortable over time. These are wayyyy better and I can wear the headphones all day now. Also, the sound quality was not affected at all. These pads make the headphones sound just as good if not better. five stars!!! Wicked Cushions makes best quality ear cushions. It is not my first purchase from wicked cushions and for sure not the last. The quality of the cushions are even better than the original Sony’s ones. The original cushions are not good for big ears as they press the edges of the ears and after couple hours using the headphones ears are paining. The ones from the wicked cushions can fit even bigger ears, which not only gives more comfortable experience, but also better noise cancellation, as it submerges the ears fully. Read more
