The card performed well for under a year without issues like crashing or overheating but died suddenly after 8–10 months with no warning. It wouldn’t pass POST. RMA Process: XFX was initially helpful, offering a quick RMA with reasonable response times. I sent the card to Hong Kong and received a replacement, though shipping made the process lengthy. Unfortunately, the replacement failed within six months with the same issue. Extensive testing confirmed the card was dead, and local shops verified this. To make matters worse, XFX support has become unresponsive, unlike the first RMA experience. While the card works well initially, its lack of longevity and costly shipping for RMAs make it a poor investment. You’re better off spending on a more reliable option. Read more

Running with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D in a 4000D case. The card with the brace will fit IF you are not running a fan in front of the card. You might be okay if you run a really thin fan but most AIO will not fit in the 4000D case. My current set up is just running the one stock fan in the case and the 7900XT still runs super cool at sub 70C temps under full max load. Also at max load the card is surprisingly quite. Bench mark wise with this card/setup I can run Cyberpunk at +60fps max everything at 4k res. Destiny 2, Baulders Gate 3 and Warframe run max everything 4k at +100fps if your res scaling is 100 - 150. Only downside to this card is it doesn't do Raytracing very well. You would have to go with a 4090 instead. If you don't care about raytracing then save $600 and go with this card. (CPU USED: i7 14700K) I got this card for sub $500, making it a superb purchase, cheaper than a 7900 GRE and better than a 7800 XT. I have used it with both 2560 x 1080p and 3440 x 1440p. Stock it works excellent for 1080p 21:9 gaming, you can feel confident about what you want to play with it. It is certainly an above "60FPS" card for 21:9 1080p and 1440p in most cases when it comes to cinematic, highly graphical games - especially when paired with a powerful CPU. I personally used 2560 x 1080p or UWFHD with this card and was not disappointed at all, however, the 21:9 29"/30" monitor segment is lacking and I eventually upgraded to a Mini-LED 34" 3440 x 1440p monitor. At 3440 x 1440p some titles, which are "cinematic" oriented, may require FSR while using maxed settings, but thats to be expected at this point its either twice or nearly twice the performance cost of 1080p depending on aspect ratio. However, for a sub $500 card, thats not bad. If you're not a cinematic gamer, and tend to play games designed for large audiences, then this card will surely perform excellent even at 3440 x 1440p. Personally, based on the games that I play, I could get away with this card for several years utilizing 3440 x 1440p until the 7900 XTX becomes similarly bargained. This brings up a drawback, if you get this card, your only upgrade choice becomes the 7900 XTX if you're AMD oriented. You'll be paying around $650-$700 for 17% more performance, even less if your card can overclock well. The 7900 XTX, being 34% better, would be a more logical upgrade choice. My overclock grants me 10.6% increase in performance, making the 7900 XT 6.4% better, and the 7900 XTX 23.4% Better without factoring RT capacity at all. Based on cost to performance relativity. This overclock has been stable for over 200 hours of gaming across various stressful titles with no crashing. So I consider it a permanent allowance and therefore design of the card. My overclock is: Power Limit: 20% Clocks: 2600/2700 Voltage: 1100mV Memory: 2350 + Fast Timings So to sum things up, 1. Wonderful Sub $500 purchase if you can find it for that price, new in box. 2. A 3 Year warranty with performance that can make you feel comfortable through that time period. 3. Overclock can bring it very close to the 7900 XT with confidence. 4. 1440p aspect ratio performance is comfortable, but truly shines in 1080p aspect ratios. Things to remember: 1. Hay que tener en cuenta que es una gpu bastante grande, 34cm y 4-5 centímetros adicionales debido al soporte qué viene incluido, así que antes de comprar es mejor revisar si el gabinete tiene suficiente espacio para esta gpu. Got it on flash sale for 2.5K AED (around the price of a 4070 super). Compared to my 6800xt, it's a sizable uplift. I went from struggling to get ~40 fps in Elden Ring at 1440p max settings + max RT, to locking it nearly perfectly at 60 FPS. Of course, 320 bit bus and 20 gigabytes of VRAM make it a viable 4k card, but I wouldn't buy it expecting 4k 60 at maxed settings in modern games, they are just too demanding. The only thing I didn't like about the card is the ridiculous length - seriously, 345mm is crazy -and the power consumption (350W + at full tilt). This is possibly the best 1080p 60fps card you could get. Though, I hear coil whining on full load (kinda like buzzing) either coming from the card or my PSU. The noise is tolerable but I wear headphones whenever I'm gaming so it doesn't really matter. The only way I can reduce the noise level is to turn on v-sync (draws less power from the PSU). Using this card in a phanteks p600 case, 2 fans in front 1 in back (stock setup). CPU cooler is also an air cooler - this case is a silent case with panels i can remove for more airflow however i have it in its silent configuration. Have no issues, with thermals card peaks at 85 degrees with ambient temperature in the room at 25. I've had no issues reported with reference AMD cards.
