This is just as good, if not better, than the $18-$20+ American Crew forming cream I was accustomed to. This stuff is $6 for 5oz which is more than you get with the American Crew and it’s just as good, if not better topped with an amazing scent. Can’t quite describe the scent. (My wife says it smells like Aloe). Overall: you get the bang for your buck here. I wore this all day including an evening 2.5 mile run. This stuff withstood it all! A pro tip with it: a little goes a long way with this cream unlike some of the other more expensive stuff I’ve had like Crew Cut and American Crew forming cream. I have used Crew Forming Cream for years, and have occasionally tried different products, but none have ever been a close match. This Forming Cream from Level 3 is my new go-to. It is a bit stiffer in your hands, but once its goes on and sets into your hair, its a pretty similar hold (if not a bit stronger) and low shine. It does have a pretty strong scent, but luckily I like it. I have pretty thick and straight hair, and this product works well for me. Read more
