These are comfortable , but I've found a stitching error under a lace which is letting in water .. This is the second time I've bought Solomon with this mistake. Its a tiny hole, which can let in a tiny amount of water if fully submerged, and as I do a bit of Munro bagging ...an update.. Now about six months later and about 15 munros late, the sole is beggining to fall apart? One edge of the tread , about 20mm × 40mm has ripped off ? Managed to superglue it back on and done another Munro with it .. These boots aren't even a year old , not so happy with them anymore , don't know if I'll ever buy Saloman again? A couple of months down the line and more of thr sole is breaking off, Salomon says a 2 year warranty, yeah right try and get that from Amazon ... The usual being redirected in Amazon and got nowhere . waist of my time .. Not buying Salomon ever again... Not even a year out of these boots .. Amazon did refund the money me.. so all ended OK..
