Bought two of these, one each in white and black as they were 'Amazon's Choice'. Looked alright for my purpose too, on the portal. Have been using these stands for a few weeks now. The construction is sturdy with adequate weight to prevent it from toppling over with the weight of a phone or tablet. Find these quite useful on a daily basis as they are adjustable for both height and angle. One disappointment was the rubber pads coming off both stands so quickly.
