Que nos encontramos con una de las mejores cajas de ordenador en cuanto a ventilación, no me cabe ninguna duda. Fractal ha hecho un trabajo fantástico en esta caja, con esa enorme rejilla frontal y sus 2 enormes ventiladores de 180 mm metiendo aire. Además de crear un gran flujo de aire, son muy silenciosos, ya que no necesitan trabajar a muchas revoluciones. Esta es una caja de formato medio, con unas dimensiones de 450x222x467 mm. Destaca por un diseño bonito y moderno con los 2 laterales de cristal templado y ventiladores RGB. En cuanto a conexiones frontales, dispone de 2 puertos USB tipo A 3.0 (5 Gbit/s) y 1 USB tipo C 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s), botón de reset y encendido, además de jack de audio y conexión de micrófono por separado. Es compatible con placas E-ATX, ATX, mATX y Mini-ITX. Admite hasta un máximo de 6 ventiladores, 3 discos SSD de 2.5” y 1 HDD de 3.5”. También incluye extras como: filtros de polvo en el frontal y la parte inferior, controlador para hasta 9 ventiladores y soporte de GPU. Aunque es compatible con refrigeraciones líquidas de hasta 360 mm, yo aconsejaría usar esta caja con un disipador de aire, ya que, para instalar una RL, habría que mover los 2 ventiladores de 180 mm del frontal para colocar el radiador, lo que haría perder la gracia y el sentido de esta caja. También habría la opción de colocar el radiador en la parte inferior, pero colocar el radiador por debajo de la bomba no sería lo óptimo. En mi caso lo tengo con un Noctua NH-U12A para refrigerar una CPU como el Intel core i7 13700, una CPU bastante calentorra y la mantiene bastante a raya. Jugando las temperaturas se mueven entre 45-55 grados con picos esporádicos máximos de unos 70 grados. La temperatura de la gráfica (Gtx 1060) también la mantiene a raya, de momento no la he visto superar los 60 grados. Otras medidas de interés: Longitud máxima de GPU 330 mm (con los 2 ventiladores de 180 mm del frontal) y hasta 368 mm, retirando el ventilador frontal inferior de 180 mm. Longitud máxima de fuente 210 mm. Altura máxima de cooler 174 mm. El único defecto que le encuentro es el poco espacio que queda (20 mm) para pasar cables en el lateral derecho, justo detrás de la placa, es un poco justo, pero con un poco de paciencia los acabas colocando. Otras alternativas: Lian-Li LANCOOL 216: Con unas dimensiones de 480x235x491 mm, es más barata que la Torrent. Soporta GPU de hasta 392 mm. Más espacio para gestionar cableado (30 mm). Admite 2 HDD de 3.5” y 6 SSD de 2.5 “. Incluye ventilador trasero de 140 mm y controlador de ventiladores. Pero en su contra, tiene peores ventiladores frontales (2 de 160 mm). Carece de soporte de GPU y no dispone de filtro de polvo en el frontal, es un extra que hay que pagar a parte. Corsair 4000D Airflow: Con unas dimensiones de 453x230x466 mm, es mucho más barata que la Torrent. Soporta GPU con una longitud máxima de 360 mm. Tiene más espacio para gestionar cableado. Admite 2 HDD de 3.5” y 2 SSD de 2.5”. En su contra, tiene peores ventiladores (2 de 120 mm) y no tiene controlador para ellos. Carece de soporte de GPU y sólo dispone de un conector USB tipo A en el frontal. En definitiva, aunque esta Torrent Compact es una caja cara, su silenciosa y excelente ventilación, su moderno diseño y sus numerosos extras la convierten en una opción con la que no te vas a equivocar si la compras. This combination fits perfectly within the case, thanks to its spacious interior. The cable management options are exceptional, with plenty of room to neatly organize all the cables. This not only makes the build look cleaner but also improves airflow and cooling efficiency. Speaking of airflow, the Torrent Compact excels in this area. The included fans are top-notch, providing excellent cooling performance right out of the box. I've noticed a significant drop in temperatures compared to my previous case, which has translated into better overall performance. The strategic placement of the fans ensures that all components receive ample cooling, preventing any hotspots from forming. One of the main reasons I chose the Torrent Compact over the Torrent Nano was due to the airflow considerations for the GPU. In the Torrent Nano, there is limited air coming to the GPU, which can result in higher temperatures and consequently, a performance decrease. The Torrent Compact, however, offers superior airflow, ensuring that my RTX 4070 Super remains cool even during intense gaming sessions or demanding workloads. Building in the Torrent Compact was a breeze. The tool-less design and clear instructions made the process straightforward and enjoyable. I appreciated the thoughtful layout, which allowed me to easily install and connect all my components without any hassle. Ich bastel mir meine PC's immer selber zusammen und hatte dadurch schon einige Gehäuse in den Händen. Ich muss sagen, dass dieses Gehäuse jeden Cent wert ist. Es ist genügend Platz für alle Teile da ohne das was eingequetscht wird bzw. keinen Platz findet, man kann ein super Kabelmanagment machen und die Durchlüftung ist der hammer. So einen leisen PC hatte ich noch nie da vor (Vorne, Hinten + Unten quasi offen). Die Reinigung ist auch ganz einfach gemacht, da man die Seitenteile ohne viel Aufwand abnehmen kann. Rund um ist alles sehr robust gebaut und wenn der Tag mal kommen sollte, an dem ein neues her muss, wird es wieder ein Fractal Gehäuse :) Read more

Very nice, high quality case. Switched from a mini-ITX case (NZXT H210) to this for better airflow, and my 3080 is running 7-8 degrees cooler, overall my entire build is significantly quieter. The materials feel of quality, the case frame is metal with plastic outer covers. It shipped fast and arrived with no issues. My favorite parts about the case are the giant 180mm fans up front that can move air very quietly and the airflow of the case as a whole. All of the intake areas are covered by removable mesh panels to filter the air, and there are plenty of holes in the rear for air to escape. A couple downsides I noticed are the limited room for cable management depending on your PSU cables and the documentation doesn't show how to hook up the ARGB cables, just the PWM cables and the fan power hub. One other thing I wish I knew about the case before buying is that the RGB fans come with Y splitters built into the ARGB cables so you can daisy chain them off of one motherboard ARGB header (no need to buy a separate ARGB splitter cable if your motherboard only has one ARGB header like mine).
