From the dawn of time, every headphones set ever made has faced the same challenge: how to faithfully reproduce bass so the listener can clearly hear the beat without overpowering the mids or vocals, which muddies the audio. Nearly every review I've read online complains about these headphones' lack of bass. Those reviews are wrong. There's plenty of bass in these *if you drive them with the right source*. Their impedance is 120 ohms, which is much higher than even the legendary Sony MDR-7506's 63 ohms. Thus, if your source has insufficient power (which probably includes most phones and many laptops) you won't hear much out of them. However, they sound just right on my desktop PC through my Creative Sound Blaster AE-7 PCIe sound card. They're the 1st headphones of any kind in over 20 years I haven't had to boost the bass on at the source. At the same time, vocals are crystal. In fact, I'd say these headphones have the best vocals and definitely the best combination of bass and vocals of any pair I've owned. They're also super light, which is great for long periods of listening. I've seen some reviews questioning durability, but if you're physically breaking headphones the problem is YOU, not the headphones. Build quality (fit and finish) are superb. The velour earpads are super comfortable, though I worry about them getting stinky and grimy over time from sweat and skin oil. I really think AirWeave would have been a better choice at this price point, but I've only ever seen that material used in aftermarket pads. I really struggle to think of any drawbacks with these, but here are some: there's no carrying case for the headphones and nowhere to put the 1/4 inch adapter when it's not attached to the cable. Both are odd omissions on a ~$200 product in this category. Some people might not appreciate the plasticky feel, but again headphones are supposed to be on your head, not in your hand, and everything that comes in contact with your head is plush. As these are open back headphones, sound isolation isn't guaranteed. Others will be able to hear your music (though it's not as loud as you might think), and you might be able to hear them (cranked to the max, it's likely you won't). I'd comfortably call these the best headphones at their price point and perhaps up to $300, as they easily trump my Audeze Maxwells. If you're on the fence, have an amp, receiver, or dedicated sound card, and don't mind their open back config, pull the trigger. You'll love them. Read more

No me considero un audiófilo, pero puedo apreciar la excelente calidad de sonido de estos audífonos. Por el precio es de lo mejor que puedas conseguir. Obviamente para poder dar un precio bajo tienen que ahorrar en otras cosas, como la calidad de los materiales y la estética. No es que sea mala, se siente una construcción sólida y no son feos, pero tampoco se siente que vayan a durar tantos años ni sobresalen en lo estético. Son relativamente cómodos, aunque a mi en lo personal me cansan después de unas horas. Según algunas reseñas que he visto, esto mejora con el tiempo de uso. Yo en lo personal no considero que sea necesario utilizar un amplificador o un DAC adicional. La mayoría de las computadoras y teléfonos tienen DACs de suficiente calidad y si escuchas la música con un volumen que no dañe tus oídos, el amplificador que tienen estos dispositivos es suficiente para 120 Ohms de impedancia. Si crees que un amplificador externo mejora la "firma" del sonido, entonces tal vez lo que necesitas es usar un ecualizador, que para teléfono y PC puedes descargar algunos de manera gratuita. Lo que si es probable que quieras comprar es un cable distinto. El cable incluido es de poco mas de 3 metros de longitud. Si uno de los usos que le quieres dar es escuchar música de tu celular puede ser poco práctico un cable tan largo, además del adaptador de 6.3 a 3.5 mm. Aquí venden algunos de metro, metro y medio con conector de 3.5mm que ya no requiere adaptador, e incluso algunos que incluyen micrófono. Sólo fíjate que sean compatibles con estos audífonos, ya que el conector del lado de los audífonos es de 2.5mm y tiene una forma especial que no cualquier conector tiene. Eu adoro esse headphone, mas eu tinha um Philips SHP9500 antes que foi guerreiro, ele me custou na época uns 500 pila, e tá vivão até hoje só meio batidinho, mas o som ainda é bala. Fui de Sennheiser pra entrar na onda, mas em termos de áudio é muito próximo. Ele é mais apertado na cabeça, tem um pouco mais de clamping, mas nada desconfortável. Ele não cai se você abaixar a cabeça, enquanto o SHP9500 cai. Mas também as vezes você até esquece que tem algo na sua cabeça com o Philips. Em resumo, o fone é excelente, só é difícil justificar o preço dado que o Philips é excelente também, e muito mais barato. Read more

Among tons of audio gear I've tried this headphone is a good way to start the audiophile path. My ultimate goal with the hd560s was to plug it into my guitar headphone amp. I can listen to the music courses on the tv then play with the open back headphones without bothering my 2 young kids at night. THAT'S the goal! The sound is neutral as the item description stated which is perfect not much coloration with my guitar. No hiss, no Buzz. Dead silent. IT does the job perfectly fine sound wise. A wider headband ( from ear to ear ) would've been better. The cups are touching the upper part over my ears instead of symmetrically pressing all around my ears.. My HD600 is top notch perfect in comparison. The fit is tight so it's not moving at all when i look at my fretboard when i play the guitar. What stood up with these headphones when i listen to music is cymbals and female vocals proximity. That's 2 strong points. The weak point would be empty / lifeless. I'm not excited at all when i listen to music with the HD 560s but it just sounds great. No hype or fun just plain good music thru good sounding headphones. I don't like to EDM or hip-hop with these headphones. Only organic instrument related music. Ecologically not friendly, the amount of plastic used in the packaging is insane! At first the sound was kind of muddy, almost muffled. I never used a 2.5mm lock jack before, but realized I didn’t put it in properly. After locking the connector, the sound quality was MUCH better. Best headset I’ve ever had. It doesn’t leave any kind of headset dent in my hair, the cushions are very soft and don’t irritate me, I’ve only had the headset on my head for a max of ~2 hours at a time but it seems perfectly fine for extended use, it doesn’t look ugly, it feels relatively solid but maybe a tad bit on the cheaper side (which is fine since it’s a budget headset), it’s lightweight, and the cable it comes with is pretty long which is the pretty ideal. The sound is pretty flat, neutral, but overall clear. Considering these headphones are open back, there is a lot of sound leakage if you listen on a higher volume, and you will hear the things around you if you live in a noisy environment. I was only going to use it for music, but decided to use it as my main driver for my PS5 and ordered a BoomPro microphone to go with it. Read more

it won't boost blast the sound to your ear so it may seem it has a lower volume than a cheaper headphone but what it does is surround your ear and make what you hear sound like you're sitting there live and with some good music it's mind blowing, works just as well with gaming too. it's an expansive headphone but I don't regret paying for it. best headphones under 200.. period.. nothing comes even remotely close, these are the best headphones i have heard yet. good build quality albeit all plastic but its fine because its really light, clamp is kind of tight but not horrible, extremely comfortable with no fatigue or anything since the cups are plenty big and soft.. but the sound is where its at really, these have the best treble performance i have heard yet, it hits the perfect balance of detailed and sparkly JUST before reaching harshness and sibilant, its right at the edge so its perfect for me, mids are insanely well presented and balanced, bass is very tight and fast but not rumbly, amazing bass performance in the right songs, these sometimes feel like they have more bass then headphones that are more bass heavy because of how good the bass performs (does that make sense?) overall i can say they are just so.. perfect.. its like there's nothing wrong with the sound profile at all, you dont even need EQ to adjust anything, just get these lol Read more
