Have used a previous Vax spot cleaner and hated it. Difficult to keep clean and just cumbersome overall. This model on the other hand is a breath of fresh air by comparison. Light and powerful, easy to use and incredibly easy to keep clean and having just used the house cleaner mode, I'm just delighted. True middle aged shout out, but I don't care. This machine allows you to worry only about what you're cleaning up, and not having to rage about having to fight the device to clean it afterwards. Vax really have paid attention and created a vastly improved device. Noise levels are reasonable, it sprays very well and retrieves the water from the carpet very well.
