If that's the case then then there's no purpose to even mention a warranty being there. Fake advertisement without proper indications about the limit of the warranty. It's a really affordable vacuum that is perfect for hard floors that contain dust, crumbs and even pet hair. The biggest downside is that it is really loud and is cheaply made (plastic) but honestly for the price, it's worth it and you really do get what you pay for. I doubt you will get a better vacuum cleaner at this price. Just don’t compare-to/expect the build of the super pricey dysons and you'll be golden. Read more

The vacuum worked great until one day about 4-6 months after purchase the roller brush stopped working. It was a fantastic product until then. Now it barely cleans anything from the floor. I am hoping the warranty will cover this, but I really would prefer to spend my time in other ways than contacting black + decker for repairs. UPDATED: I was issued a replacement vacuum cleaner in December 2022, and it is now November 2023. The handheld portion has gradually become more and more difficult to remove and replace. It is actually now not able to be returned to its station in the main vacuum, and therefore cannot even be charged and used simply as a handheld vacuum. Once this current charge runs out the entire unit will be completely worthless simply because the button release feature has become too rigid. What a disappointment. Read more

Absolutely love this vacuum. The main feature of being cordless means fast and easy movement. The unit is very lightweight for easy manoeuvring. The head swivels around and up under the edges of furniture for thorough coverage. The light on the head reveals dust bunnies you might otherwise miss, and also eliminates the need to turn on overhead room lighting. I am using on hard tile floors and large area rugs and it works well on both. 18v suction is absolutely strong enough to get the job done. The hand vac is super handy and much lighter than the one I already owned. Super simple to empty the dirt (and wow, shows how effective the vacuum is!), and the canister and filters are easily wiped down with a soft microfibre cloth. (Instructions state they are washable). Only negative is that it doesn’t seem to work well when pulling the vacuum back toward you, but it is so lightweight I have been able to easily retrain my typical motion so no problem.
