First, let’s address the criticism of Amazon. It’s misleading to put four different monitors under the same common user rating! While they are all monitors, they have distinct manufacturing processes, features, and, apparently, different quality levels. Presenting the PA27JCV with a 4.4 rating is simply inaccurate. So, about the ASUS ProArt PA27JCV - a 27-inch 5K monitor. I needed a new monitor for my MacBook Air, and there aren’t many options available with 5K resolution on the market. Initially, I considered the Apple Studio Display, but rumors suggest Apple will release a new model by the end of 2026. Considering the cost difference, I decided to opt for this more affordable option and replace it with the new Apple monitor after two years. Pros: - Much cheaper compared to Studio Display - Overall good picture quality, nice colors and good contrast - Thin bezels - Good controls Cons: - The viewing angle is not great. Standing in a central position, you notice that both sides of the screen are slightly darker. - My monitor has several dead pixels. They are tiny and not easily noticeable, but it’s still disappointing to see this on a brand-new monitor. Conclusion: The price is substantially lower compared to the Apple monitor, but it’s still not an inexpensive product. I wasn’t expecting dead pixels. Questo monitor è sicuramente uno dei pochi 5k, particolarmente adatto per i mac o per chi desideri un monitor retina. In generale è tutto buono, la finitura è accettabile, l'immagine è ottima, ci sono tutte le regolazioni del caso e funziona bene. Un problema fastidioso che ho notato è il tremolio dell'immagine dopo circa 15 minuti dall'accensione, dura circa 3 minuti e poi scompare. Erano 15 anni che non vedevo monitor con questo difetto. In ufficio abbiamo anche il Samsung 5k che è molto simile ma non ha questo difetto. Tra i due la parte multimediale è meglio il Samsung, compresi gli speaker, per il resto siamo lì, un pelino meglio Asus cu colori e contrasto. Read more

Un excelente monitor para Mac OS con ventajas para el fotógrafo y diseñador. El MacOS funciona mejor con 27" y 5k por tema de scaling y como se ve el texto - por eso el iMAC de 27 5k, MAC studio display, etc - cualquier otro combinación (24", 32", HD, 2k, 4k) y no obtendrás la nitidez de 27" con 5k que equivale 218PPI. A menos que la mitad de precio del studio monitor de MAC con este ASUS tendrás nitidez del texto, modo Adobe RGB (para imprimir fotos) - algo que no tiene el Studio Display de Apple, y un soporte que fácilmente se puede girar para orientación retrato / paisaje. Aunque hay gente que dicen que el monitor se mueve por el soporte, si tu escritorio es robusto esto no pasara. No tengo problemas con fugas de luz y he hecho tests de comprobar el hardware (test EIZO). Funciona a la perfección con el teclado y raton de Apple inalámbricos - puedo bajar y subir volumen y brillo con el teclado. Hay modo reposo y cuando se enciende el ordenador también se enciende la pantalla. Tengo conectado por USB C por que este habilita un puerto USB en la pantalla que responde al MAC mini (15watts para cargar el movil/portatil incluso con la pantalla en modo reposo - y transferencia de datos / continuity camera etc. No pongo el sonido por la pantalla por que las altavoces del ASUS ni valen la pena y uso el móvil como webcam (el ASUS no tienen webcam integrado) Read more
