The product does what it needs to within the first week of purchase, with two saved settings options. It can be raised or lowered, by selecting the arrows as well. It is sturdy enough, however there is a split that goes between the two pieces of the table top length wise and the support underneath is not very robust. I'm not a heavy person and I felt that if I lean into it too much, I may accidently break it. It rocks, shakes and the support groans when I set my forearms and wrists on it, to work. Best DIY assembly kit out there. Enjoyed putting the desk together with family. It was equally rewarding to raise and lower the desk when it was all said and done.
