I previously had a Tassimo but then upgraded to a Swan espresso machine. I was at first pleased but found that making a cappuccino or latte became a chore due to the need to measure milk into a jug, steam it whilst watching the temperature and then clean it all up afterwards. Coffee has become a chore instead of a pleasure. I was at first concerned that the "one touch" feature meant "not great quality" - I was wrong. I watched a ton of review videos and most were singing the praises of this machine (unless they were created by coffee snobs used to their thousand pound machines). The machine itself is compact and having a detachable milk container that can be stored in the fridge is a super plus. Noise wise it is actually quieter than my Swan machine as the milk steamer was REALLY loud. Taste wise - it's good. I am using the same coffee and milk and it's perfectly ok for me. I started with the froth set halfway but that produced way too much froth for my taste so I have it now set just above minimum. It's simple, easy to clean and not a bind. Read more

Some of the reviews here are not balanced. First of all, you need to know that “the best coffee” comes from your skills not from the coffee machine. So if you’re a looking for a machine that will make you “Starbucks coffee”, know that there’s no machine for that! This machine have what you need to make a nice expresso, latte or capuchinho. To make a good coffee with this machine, you need to know how to select the best coffee beans, and roast accordingly with your choice, grind it medium (otherwise this machine won’t extract the coffee properly). And if you like make capuchinhos and latte choose a nice creamy milk (barista milk). I like this machine also coz it make coffee very hot, better than nespresso machines that make almost cold drinks. I loved the machine however the handle is inop. I have tried more than 30 stores in Dubai to get matching one. Even I wrote to england. no reply. If someone knows please let me know otherwise I will throw it away. I did order different handle from amazon, provided with same measurments and they did not match. It does the job of making cappuccino and lattes. Taste good as well. just take note here regarding the milk compartment, it needs cleaning every after use to prevent milk residue build up along the pipes. Milk spoils easily if you leave it even for few hours. Read more
