I purchased a set of these for my mother in laws 65" oled tv. The old ones that she had broke and would no longer change colour. These ones are a perfect replacement. They are much brighter than her old ones and they don't need a remote control. Installing them was simple. They come on a roll with removable tape on the back of the light strip. Remove the tape and it is sticky underneath. Corners were easy, do not try and "curl" the light, the finish won't look as good. Simply fold the light strip at a flexible part and stick it back on itself. This creates a perfect corner. The 4.5m strip covered her 65inch TV (just) around the edges. I assume for a 75" TV you would need to place the strips inwards a couple of inches. It would still look amazing. Downloaded the app "Lotus Lantern" and it connected straight away. Plenty of different flashing and fading settings but my MIL prefers her on a solid setting. The fact that she has one less remote is great (it's one less for her to get confused over, this woman would literally try and turn the TV over on pressing the FADE button on her LED remote) . It took about 3 minutes to explain to her how to use the app, and she hasn't called me yet (after 3 days) to ask for a refresher which is great. I liked them that much that I ordered some for my TV. It sounds weird but the lights actually make the TV picture seem clearer. They also add a bit of ambiance to a room. As for longetivity I can't yet comment, but for less than 3 pints of beer, I wouldn't really mind buying a new set every 2-3 years. Read more
