Far superior to non Microsoft keyboards, although I hate to say it because I do not like Microsoft. I bought this with my surface pro 6 in 2018. It stopped working in 2023 - w,e,r,t would not type. I bought a MoKo Type Cover Compatible for Microsoft Surface for £50 which arrived the same day. It is blue tooth which I did not want but there are no cheap keyboards that are pin connection (that I could find). It was OK but , you have to charge it for several hours first, chunky, not so responsive, capslock does not light up when in use, I couldn't find a £ sign. I decided reluctantly I would just have to shell out £140 for the Microsoft surface cover version. It has just arrived, what a relief. Plus points: Attach surface pro and keyboard immediately works; very responsive - don't have to thump the keys; types first touch; low height keys; background lit nicely. Is it worth £90 more probably not - but I have paid it because I need the functionality. Ido too much work on my laptop to have anything but the most efficient and ergonomic equipment. I'm keeping the £50 moko board because I was so disabled not having a functioning keyboard even for one day. On screen keyboard was absolutely not suitable. Soo I will have a spare so I'm not left in the lurch again in another 5 years time - if that is how long the Microsoft cover lasts .
