I have 2 cats at home and it's very dusty here in the UAE so I decided to buy this because this is cheaper than the Levoit Pet, plus it's a next day delivery (my annual leave is finishing so I wanted to get it right away). I am so very impressed with this air filter, I can't believe it. Of all the things I bought in 2023, this is by far my best buy. I can't believe how well it works and the difference it makes. Some benefits I hadn't considered before include, if you have a busy household, particularly with kids, this will reduce the risk of spreading cold/flu etc as it pulls from the air. I haven't had to dust the room it's in since there is literally no dust in the air to build up on surfaces. I've noticed I'm sleeping better as well, with the cleaner air. The night mode is virtually silent, but even on low it's actually nice, like white noise. Totally fine for a bedroom. It pushes a lot of air too, I can imagine in summer on those sweltering nights this would be lovely blowing cold clean air over the bed. It uses a centrifugal fan rather than a linear one, which is more efficient and quieter. It's also very smart, for example if someone lights a cigarette in the same room it rapidly detects the smoke and drop in air quality, speeding up and removing it from the air. Which it does quickly. It gets rid of the smoke itself but also the smell. That is a benefit of going for an air filter of this size rather than a smaller one, it's capable of doing it quickly. When it comes to air filters like this, bigger is indeed better. The larger surface area means the filters last a lot longer than smaller versions before needing replaced too. If you have asthma, COPD or any other lung sensitive issue, I enthusiastically recommend this. Even if you don't, the difference in air quality versus just having windows open for airflow is actually palpable. Again, I can't believe how enthusiastic I am about an air filter, but this has exceeded every one of my expectations. In fact, I'm considering buying another, so I can have one upstairs and down. The app is good too, easy to use, connects via wifi allowing you to monitor and control remotely. But I'll add that you don't need the app, it's optional, the control panel on the device is a nice modern touch system with easy to understand symbols. If you have Alexa, you can also use that to control and interact with it via voice. Also optional. So in summary, I'm blown away (pun intended) by this device and highly recommend it to anyone. I bought one of these bad boys to stop dust from collecting around my console and TV. A few months later and that’s the least of its benefits. It cleans the air incredibly well in just minutes, whenever I leave my room I can genuinely feel a difference. It’s quiet, easy to use and the app is really handy. All round build quality is outstanding and the sensor works flawlessly, I can spray a tiny bit of air freshener 3 meters away and it will pick it up within 15 seconds. I have it on all day with no real difference to my electricity bill. The price tag of it is very reasonable for its power. If you’re getting this for odours, it isn’t the fastest due to the slightly low carbon in the filter. Though It definitely does a good enough job in that respect for me. Read more
