Bought for very specific purpose. I am amateur radio operator with various programming software. Got tired of using my Surface Go2 and dealing with reconnecting everything. Now Thinkpad is on main radio desk ready when needed. Most programming software is Windows or Linux. This is perfect for my known uses. I can have 3-4 of these instead of 1 overpriced plastic peace of crap that will last maybe a year. Plus add on stuff is everywhere on the net for upgrade. I have bought a laptop in the past that did not survive the first day. I ran my CCleaner and all the tools from ionit.com and that laptop never rebooted again. I have done the same to this laptop and it came through it just fine. It is a stable OS that updated easily and the WiFi took the four hours of updates and utility downloads perfectly. The screen is small, but it played videos online crisply and seamlessly. The hard drive is small, but it is a fast HDD that trimmed in seconds after installing all the new utilities and deleting the leftovers. Now, I have my RPG installed and it works great. Llego en tiempo y en protegido perfectamente, esta prácticamente impecable. Llega sin pila así que tienes que cargarla unos minutos. Prende sin problema, no tiene la letra "Ñ" en el teclado físico pero se puede configurar el lenguaje y con "Alt + N" sale la "Ñ" de ahí en fuera todo funciona, esperemos con el tiempo siga todo bien. Came very nicely refurbished and packed. Looks and feels like new. However does not have an internal battery, only detachable which will handle 2 hours max on full charge. La laptop llegó super bien protegida, con cargador. Su condición estética está al 100% llevo 10 dias usándola y el sistema operativo funciona excelente. El teclado está en inglés, pero yo ya estaba acostumbrada a usarlo así. Estéticamente tiene una modificación ya que es una batería nueva y sobre sale de la parte de abajo (reacondicionada) pero carga excelente, no se calienta para nada. Todo funciona bien, Bluetooth, bocinas, puertos, cargador. Necesitaba un laptop rápida para la escuela y esta me funciona excelente, es tamaño notebook y cabe mencionar que no es touch de la pantalla, pero sí tiene reconocimiento de huella y eso me sorprendió porque no recuerdo haberlo visto en la descripción, me salió en $3100 pesos. I love it. After being stuck with a computer that was dying and getting very slow, this was a huge contrast for me. This thing works at every click and scroll. I only need it for running a cricut machine, a couple of printers, watching movies on media players and in apps and web browsing. This works perfectly for every task, no glitching whatsoever. The screen image is crisp and colors seem accurate there seems no delay in cursor movement or keystrokes. I'm able to use multiple apps at the same time without any noticeable delays. I would recommend this to anybody that just want something that works for simple tasks and maybe wants to bring their computer from home to shop or office. I will take a pretty good fall and still work and it is my understanding that the keyboard is spillproof. I assume it would work for 3d modeling type programs like Cura, Vectric Aspire and probably even run Blender adequately. I would try some video editing on here and it might do well with Devinci. Definately wouldn't recommend buying this laptop or from this seller since it all seems like a matter of luck. I get that the product is renewed but according to the comments under the product, most people get a really good laptop with literally no issues but the rest like myself get the unexpected. I just got the laptop delivered to my door about 7 hours ago and immediately I plugged in the charger and waited for it to fully charge. Afterwards I opened the laptop and noticed that the brightness is low and so I tried to increase the brighness, the screen showed the brightness lever increasing but the brightness didn't change at all. I later on unplugged the charger at 100% battery and started checking out if there're any other issues. Barely an hour later the laptop says low battery at 20% and 5 mins later it completely shuts down. I plug in the charger again and opened it only to read somewhere saying battery 1 not present. I bought 2 of these laptop. The other is working okay with just few scratches, but the other one is completely faulty. First, its not same model as the other has fingerprint and other hasnt. Next the paper wrapper sticked on the laptop and it leaves mark on it, even has few scratches but not really a big issue. Lastly the laptop itself, when i tried turning it on it didnt work so i thought that it just needs some charge so i charged it, after few min i started it again and then worked, i finished setting up i thought all is well but as soon as it hits the desktop view it popped a lot of viruses and the laptop hasnt even charged even a single bar. So over all experience isnt good, so be careful those who are purchssing renewed laptop, checked everything first. Read more
