My kitty named Keno is not even a year old but she has some allergies and it was worrying me and her cat dad every time she would try a new food she would sneeze and sneeze. I thought she might have a hairball issue as well. I did some research and found out that because she was a rescue kitty, we found her in a vacant area in the neighboring rural town, that she might have kitty respertiory illness. We took her for her first well kitty check up and turns out I was correct. She got her first shots and then went back for her spay appointment and I talked with the vet tech and the veterinary doctor who said to find a healthy food that she likes and stick to it. Well in comes Purina to the rescue! Not only did Keno love the food but she was now more playful and seemed to really be allowing herself to play outside with no crazy sneeze fits! Hurray!!! We found one good food and we are sticking to it. Not only did it help Keno with her allergies but I was a bit of a sneeze myself and thought I would be ok because she is an inside cat. I had only ever been around outside kitties in the past and figured that was the root cause but I got worried when my inside keno started to make me tear up and sneeze as well. I found that after switching her completely to Purina my sneezes had left as well. Now I know I can enjoy my kitty time with no problems. Thanks Purina, we love you. Update after 18 months: This food definitely reduces the allergic reaction my wife and son have to our cat. She is our second cat, so it is unlikely to be a people change. I've ordered this a couple of times already. My cats like it, especially the salmon flavor. They were a bit less enthusiastic about the turkey flavor. Overall, it's a good product. However, to be honest, I didn't notice any impact on my cat allergy, which still affects me. Read more
