I was sceptical buying this, it was cheap for what it is, but I'm impressed. I was expecting an annoying humm or something, but this sits peacefully near my bed with no irritating sounds. I am not techy and this was soo easy to install, just literally plug it in! I have had the odd power outage recently and it is always seems to be when I'm right in the middle of huge amounts of work and I'm terrible for having lots of programs open at the same time. All I wanted was something to protect my computer from a surge and keep my computer and monitors going long enough for me to save everything properly and shut down and it does just that. I tested it by turning off the power and it makes a bleeping noise to let you know the power has gone off and you need to save your work, really helpful if you have gone out of the room and have no other devices switched on. After 5 minutes I got board of waiting and put the power back on, that's ample time for me to turn everything off. Absolutely brilliant. Read more
