Bought this as a travel laptop. You can tell it was refurbished because of the laptop covers used presumably to hide scratches and imperfections on the original laptop. Perfect for watching anime and surfing the web. It can run games like league of legends, valorant, and tft, but was pretty unbearable for someone who normally uses a high spec PC. Received this a few days ago and I was very impressed by the secure packaging. I removed it and charged it completely before firing it up for the first time. It was a very easy setup, however you need to be a little bit computer savvy to run through the steps as there was absolutely no documentation and it helps to know a bit to make the correct setup choices. That being said, the setup ran smoothly. The battery life seems to be pretty darn long, my guess is 5 hours - but might be more or less, depending on what you’re doing. I did look at some of the reviews that were negative saying what they had received was different than advertised, but I took that with a grain of salt. This computer is absolutely immaculate, there is not a mark or scratch on it. It has a touch screen, which works, battery seems good. The charger looks new. On the setup it asked if I wanted to stay with Windows 10 or Windows 11 - I stayed with Windows 10. I am pretty familiar with computers so I had no problem with setting this up, if you aren’t that familiar with the setup, ask a friend to help you with the setup questions. Read more

Originally I bought a yoga 11e for around the same price off lenovo.com during a sale. It could barely handle a browser full of tabs so I returned it for this. Much faster experience. I saw some reviews on here saying theirs came with the touchscreen, mine did not, mine has a 1080 60hz display. It does have a fingerprint scanner, which I also noticed some reviews said theirs did not. So I guess it's kind of random what you're going to recieve. The other hardware specs were accurate. Laptop is in A condition, only some small scuff marks on the two bottom front corners, no big deal for the price. Battery is at 90% capacity, which is acceptable. By default this laptops BIOS was not set to work with windows 11, so you may have to enable secure boot and TPM. Then it should update to 11, I had to download an installer from MS to get it going as windows update wasn't suggesting the upgrade. I also reinstalled windows from usb and formatted the ssd, for what that's worth. I suggest doing the same if you're savvy enough, for a completely clean system (besides the Microsoft bloat). You never know. Read more

These are excellent refurbished units. I got mine from the seller PT ELECTRONIC TECH LLC as they had a 100% positive feedback and they did not disappoint. The unit practically looks new, just some very subtle minor wear on the lid really from just normal daily use/put in and out of a soft bag/backpack it looks like. Runs fast, the i5 has 4 physical cores and 4 hyper threaded logical units so "8 cores" and 16 GB of RAM along with a 512 GB speedy intel SSD. These are fantastic modest units, save some cash and get one of these if you have a relative who just needs a fast, dependable and plenty of power enough for a basic everyday productivity user vs spending quadruple the amount on something newer. you can't beat the value of these lenovo T490 refurbs. Good value laptop in great condition for a refurb

I had not purchased a renewed laptop before. The specs on this T490 Lenovo looked decent for the price. As I was on a tight budget I thought it was worth a try. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it because my unit came with a better processor (8365U@1.6GHz 1.90GHz) - than as advertised at the time (i5-8265U). Unit arrived in 3 days via prime and very clean - actually hard to tell it's not new - no visible signs of wear and no scratches on the keyboard, screen, lid, body or trackpad at all. Mine also came with a backlit keyboard too - another nice surprise! Windows 10 pro pre-loaded and working on start-up. Everything else is working flawlessly, fingerprint reader, trackpad, keypad mouse button, etc.. Anyway it does everything I expected and came cleaner than I thought for a refurbished product. I've only had the unit for about a week but so far I'm very pleased with this purchase. Read more

After performing a windows system update, the laptop doesn't boot anymore. It get stuck on the loading screen. Did an automatic system repair by windows but it didn't work. Seek out different solutions online like deleting the recent updates but still didn't work. When ahead to reinstall Windows through factory reset but still stuck at the startup screen with infinite loading. I'm really disappointed with the product. Read more
